As some of the most experienced guides, the guides analyze weather predictions prior to every tour and have close contact with a network of guides for the highest chances to see the Northern Lights. The comfortable vehicle with 4x4 drive is fully equipped with everything you may need in the arctic, allowing you to discover remote scenery, reaching the more calm and peaceful places. Pick up is at a central location in Tromsø, allowing more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, the enthusiasm and dedication never fades.
Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland.

A truly intimate and inspiring northern lights tour!

5.00We had an amazing experience on this northern lights tour with Filip and Lucas. The tour felt very intimate (no more than 10 people) and they had truly thought of everything: hand and feet warmers, a cozy campfire, delicious soup, coffee and hot chocolate, flashlights and overalls to keep us warm even in the freezing temperatures. They took us to a secluded beach far from any light pollution, where the northern lights reflected beautifully on the water. It was an absolutely magical spot. We had the chance to spend time with two inspiring guides and learn more about their life stories and experiences. Filip and Lucas make a fantastic team, well balanced, warm and genuinely passionate about Norway. They also taught us a lot about how the northern lights form, which made the experience even more special. The photos taken by Filip were absolutely stunning and captured these unforgettable moments perfectly. We had a wonderful time and will carry these memories with us forever.

5.00We were only four participants, and the tour was simply fantastic! It was exactly how we imagined our Northern Lights experience: personal, intimate, and warmly wrapped up in the Arctic night. We were well taken care of with hot drinks and a delicious tomato soup (I would love to have the recipe!). Tomas is a guide with true passion, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Mathias, our driver, was outstanding — he navigated the new minibus safely and attentively through the night. All in all, a wonderful experience that we highly recommend. We would book with Northern Soul Adventures again in a heartbeat.

5.00An incredible tour with Lucas and Joaquin! The company is highly professional and ready to meet every need: they were perfectly equipped for the cold and provided us with everything necessary to enjoy the evening in the best possible conditions. The comfort items were impeccable—hot drinks, small snacks, and everything that could make the wait more pleasant. Lucas and Joaquin, besides being extremely friendly and welcoming, shared many curiosities and scientific explanations about the Northern Lights, making the experience not only thrilling but also very interesting. The spot they chose to set up camp was excellent: a panoramic, isolated location far from any lights, perfect for admiring the sky in all its beauty. Thanks to them, we enjoyed an unforgettable moment under the dancing aurora. I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience an authentic, well-organized adventure guided by competent and passionate people.

5.00We went on the Northern Lights tour with Northern Soul Adventures, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our guide, Fede, went above and beyond to give us the best chance of seeing the aurora despite the cloudy, rainy weather. He drove an amazing 400 km round-trip to find clear skies in Fossbakken — and his dedication paid off! The moment the clouds parted and the lights began dancing across the sky with beautiful pink tones was pure magic. Fede was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole journey feel relaxed and personal. The small-group style made such a difference — it genuinely felt like exploring with friends rather than being on a big tour. The photos he took were stunning, and the gallery was so easy to access afterwards. You can really tell how passionate he is about what he does, and it made the whole experience unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing night and memories we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended — we would book with them again in a heartbeat!

5.00Incredible night !!!!! The only night that I was able to go hunt for northern nights was probably the worst weather of the four days that we were in Tromso… lots of clouds lots of rain… but our guide Federico did an incredible job predicting exactly where there would be a clearing in the clouds, even though we had to drive far to get there. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable warm and enjoyed the experience. He was super knowledgeable, and it was clear that this was not an amateur tour. And the photos were great too!! worth every penny

5.00Our trip to Tromso was definitely unforgettable! We arrived hoping to see this wonder of nature, but the weather was not in our favor. We started the tour and our guide Bogdan was clear about the mission! He took us on a trip of more than 3 hours to Finland, checking at specific points... Until you recommended us to wait at one point and trust! After a delicious soup and a hot chocolate with cookies (all included in the tour) there they appeared, started dancing, tremendous show almost unreal before our eyes! It was beautiful! I totally recommend the experience, this agency and above all our friendly guide and photographer. Thanks to him we take the best memories!

5.00We’ve had the most amazing adventure chasing the Northern Lights starting in Tromsø and heading to Iitto, Finland. We drove for hours with very low expectations to see the lights due to the weather conditions but, we ended up watching an espectacular explosion of lights up the sky for several minutes. An unforgettable experience thanks mostly to Bogdan and his skills to located the perfect spot while having everything set, to make of our adventure a comfortable and luxurious one! I highly recommend booking with him….(disclaimer)…there is not promise to see the northern lights but, I promise you will have fun chasing them!!!

5.00Fantastic evening viewing the northern lights! The evening started out with pouring rain in Tromso. While it seemed like it would be impossible to see any lights, sure enough, with some time, persistent guides, and a location to the west, we hit the jackpot. Beautiful lights in a couple of nice locations for photographs. Add on some soup dinner which was very tasty, and we had a wonderful evening. Thanks for our guides for a great night.
