Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

5.00Our tour guide David was fantastic! He was very informative and very entertaining! He also can sing those jazz tunes with the best of them! The Cotswolds towns are cute little gems worth seeing. Time was a bit crunched in each town, but we got to see four of them.

5.00Our guide Tony was great! He had lots of knowledge and tips about each location, but also didn’t talk too much and let us enjoy the ride with a nice playlist in addition to telling us about the cotswolds. It’s a long day, but a great way to see the area.

5.00We saw the cutest little villages, ate some great food and did some shopping. Wish we’d had a little more time to shop, but maybe it was best for the bank balance that we didn’t! :) Our tour guide, Chris S. was also so great. We felt safe, and he was very informative and funny.

5.00Great trip! David, our driver, was very knowledgeable about the Cotswolds, including the history and architecture of the area and unique facts of each of the 4 towns we stopped at. He provided multiple recommendations for sites to see, and places to stop for a bite or beverage. He had a diverse and enjoyable playlist for the drive and was a fun and engaging individual. Even driving back into London, David continued to provide interesting historical and cultural information that I particularly enjoyed.
