Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

5.00David was our guide and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. My only suggestion would be to spend less time at the first two stops (Burford and Bibury) as there wasn’t as much to see. We were more rushed at the second two (Stow on the Wold and Burton on the Water) and they were bigger and we would have liked a little more time at those. But overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.

5.00Had a lovely, full day adventure to four villages of the Cotswolds. Tony was a great guide and incredibly informative throughout the day. The bus was comfortable and on the smaller side so we could wind through the smaller roads of the countryside. My only suggestion would be to adjust the timing as to not conflict so much with rush hour, it was a nightmare both getting in and out of London, but that’s to no fault of the tour 😊

5.00Tony was a great driver/guide. He gave us lots of information about the Cotswolds, but also about areas we traveled past. Tony sprinkled his narratives with humor and was very friendly. He was a careful driver who took a break from his narrative at dangerous intersections and busy highways so he could focus on driving safely. Thanks, Tony!

5.00This was a wonderful tour of the Cotswolds. Liam was incredible; full of energy and enthusiasm. He perfectly mixed information about the local history and fun facts throughout the journey even going so far as to play music which perfectly matched each stop/the theme at hand. The tour was perfectly timed with a diverse mix of villages visited. However, it was Liam himself who was the highlight. Such a wonderful tour and an incredible tour guide.

4.00We had a good time in this tour. Convenient pick-up and drop-off location. Our driver Ash was very friendly and shared lots of interested anecdotes about the places he took us to. We quite liked the small group size, as this allowed us to travel through narrow rural roads, giving us a closer experience with the English countryside. I would suggest that the tour be limited to visits to three instead of four sites, allowing people more time to enjoy each particular site.

4.00I liked that the group was smaller and the van had AC. The English countryside is beautiful. The time spent in each location was too short to really enjoy it though. I wish we had more time to explore.
