The Sights Were Mostly Tourist Traps but the Guide Was Very Good

4.00It’s a very long day tour and most of the sights — even Stratford-upon-Avon — are mostly tourist traps. Cara, however, was an excellent tour guide and van driver and her walking tour of Oxford, was the highlight of the tour and very insightful. More walking tours at the various stops would have somewhat mitigated the crass commercialism of many of the locations! That being said, I think most of the other tour participants enjoyed the commercialism.
