  This tour was hands down the best tour experience that we have had. Absolutely worth the money! Our tour guide, Alfonso, was like a walking encyclopaedia. His knowledge was so extensive that we learnt more than you can imagine in the one day. We loved learning about the geography of where we were, the history of the Hoover Dam and particularly the history of the indigenous people who’s land we were on. Alfonso knew the needs of our party of 8, stopping for breaks for the kids and had the most genuinely kind manner towards us. At the Skywalk, we had the most delicious meal, which was all included in the price and Alfonso made sure we were seated right at the window with canyon views. He made the tour such a fantastic experience. After our tour, He sent us all the amazing photos of our family that he had carefully and thoughtfully taken…WITH pretty much a full write up of all the knowledge he had shared for each photo location. We were absolutely blown away! We want to thank Alfonso from the depths of our hearts for sharing, teaching us and being such a wonderful guide. If you’re contemplating doing this tour….do it!

  Alfonso was our driver/tour guide and he did an outstanding job!! Being in a small group tour made us feel personal and comfortable. We saw large tourist buses and the people looked like cattle, not with this Alfonso. He took spectacular photos of us (he had us pose) and followed up with sending us the pictures. We live in a tourist town and I would recommend the tour guide in my city take lessons from this tour. Matthew & Reiko

  I can’t recommend this company enough. Alfonso was an amazing tour guide, he went above and beyond. The van was clean and well maintained, the lunch was good, not one negative thing to say!

  Excellent! A very complete walk, Alfonso our guide was very friendly, organized very well the times that allowed us to enjoy this wonder of nature. Besides good photographer, he knows well the places for the best shots.

  I highly recommend this tour. I loved travelling in a small group. With this tour you really learn more about the Hoover Dam, you can see it from all sides and walk on top of it. You also make a short walk through the Joshua Tree National Park. Of course you also explore the Grand Canyon west and walk on the Skywalk. The ticket for the Skywalk is included in the price. Our tour guide Alfonso knows and tells a lot about the history and and other interesting fact. He also made a lot of pictures of us individually and as a group which he sent after the tour.

  This was a great trip! Alfonso was our guide, and he was amazing. He provided facts and pointed things out throughout the trip as well as while we were at the Dam and the Grand Canyon. He even pulled double duty and explained everything in English and Spanish since there were 2 Spanish speakers in our group. He will take photos with your phone if you want him too. You make a few pit stops for bathroom breaks, and also a stop to stock up on snacks/drinks. Alfonso also gave us the option to eat in the van so we could get to each place faster and stay longer so we could make the most of the daylight hours. If you like to take a lot of pictures with your phone, I would highly recommend bringing a usb cord and a battery pack to recharge your phone with. Almost everyone in our group either ran out of battery or nearly did by the end of the trip. My wife and I would highly recommend this tour and Alfonso as the tour guide!

  Darryl was WONDERFUL! He showed up exactly on time. His knowledge of the city & town was great. As a bonus he stopped on the way so we could get the iconic welcome to fabulous Las Vegas photo. He never rushed us when we were touring the area. He was kind enough to take all the photos for us. We met another lovely couple who was on our tour and Darryl again answered all of our questions about the history of Nevada and added additional knowledge. We truly appreciate & enjoyed our day.   Alfonso was a fantastic tour guide for our 12-hour Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam tour from the Las Vegas Strip!! He was very informative, attentive, and he took AMAZING pictures for our entire group all day long!! We highly recommend both Grand Adventures, and Alfonso as a tour guide! Five stars!!
