  Great experience! Alfonso was an amazing tour guide, providing great info about the sites and taking great pictures of the group. He knew the best spots to take photos. A small group tour is definitely the way to go!

  We traveled with Alfonso from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam in early April. The minibus is a great option for the tour. The weather was cool in the early morning but warmed nicely by afternoon. Alfonso made rest stops, breakfast stops, and photo stops. He is a friendly, helpful, personable guy who filled us in on the local history and geology of the area as we rolled along the highway. Alfonso is a talented, self-taught photographer who assisted everyone with framing great shots. We had ample time to spend at each stop. The other passengers were friendly and caring. The vehicle was in excellent condition. Pickups and drop offs were at our hotel; we found this so nice and so convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Alfonso. He is also a careful driver.

  This was a great day out! Our guide Alfonso was really knowledgeable and gave us lots of information and facts during the day. He is also great at taking the group photos. The whole day was well organised, and all the stops were interesting, but the Grand Canyon was awesome!

  What a special tour! Perfectly paced, well-packed day which was also blessed with great weather. Our guide Alfonso is an absolute credit to this company. His knowledge, patience and passion are second to none, not to mention his photography skills! Despite a slightly late start due to other guests' confusion, Alfonso remained professional ensuring everyone was included & looked after. A super day with some great memories!

  We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Alfonso was so knowledgeable, our whole trip from Vegas to The Canyon was filled with information and facts about the local area, the history and the people. We left Vegas at approximately 7am after all the pick ups were done from various hotels, what a great service, and we arrived at the Grand Canyon approximately 1.45pm, throughout this time we stopped at the Las Vegas sign for photos, (just before 2 big tour buses pulled up, we were lucky!!) Stopped to grab breakfast, bathroom breaks, visited Boulder City, Hoover Dam, the Joshua Tree Forest stopped at various lookout view points along the way and learned so much from Alfonso, who took loads of amazing pictures of us also! I would 100% recommend this tour, the smaller group made it so much more relaxing and less structured.

  We chose this tour because it provided pick up and drop off at our hotel. Immediately upon meeting Alfonso, our guide, I knew he was someone who truly cared about your tour experience. Alfonso provided interesting historical and current information about the regions. He provided an itinerary at each stop, so we all knew what to expect. Bathroom breaks were at appropriate intervals, cold water was always available, and a surprise treat of fruit was shared. Although mentioned in tour description, Alfonso’s photography moments gave us some nice snapshots of special moments. I highly recommend Grand Adventure Tours, and specifically Alfonso.

  

  

  

• Alfonso turned a rocky start into a 5-star day!

  We had a marathon 13-hour day (6:20 AM to 7:50 PM) and despite some technical and logistical hurdles, it was an incredible experience. The Highlights: Our guide, Alfonso, was fantastic. He is a true pro—multilingual (English, Spanish, and French) and an expert photographer who knows exactly where to stand to get the best shots at the Las Vegas Sign, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon. He even took us on a special detour to a park in Boulder City where we saw several wild Rams, which was a huge highlight for the group! The Challenges (And how they were handled): The day started with a minor stressor—a detour to pick up our lunch (Arby's sandwiches, which were good and hit the spot). Additionally, the microphone in the van stopped working. However, Alfonso didn't let that stop him; he spoke extra loud the entire day so everyone could still hear the history and information he was sharing. Comfort & Logistics: The Van: Very clean and, most importantly, the AC was amazing. It reached 92°F during our tour, so having a freezing cold van to retreat to was a lifesaver. The Stops: Well-timed stops at McDonald’s for breakfast and a gas station for snacks/restrooms made the long drive much easier. Verdict: Don't let a minor hiccup at the start worry you. If you have Alfonso, you have a guide who will work through any issue to make sure you have a great time. Between his photography skills and his dedication to the group, he made the trip worth every penny! Español: Tuvimos una jornada maratónica de 13 horas (de 6:20 a.m. a 7:50 p.m.) y, a pesar de algunos retos técnicos y logísticos, fue una experiencia increíble. Lo más destacado: Nuestro guía, Alfonso, fue fantástico. Es un verdadero profesional: políglota (habla inglés, español y francés con fluidez) y un fotógrafo experto que sabe exactamente dónde pararte para sacar las mejores fotos en el letrero de Las Vegas, la Presa Hoover y el Gran Cañón.
