On Koh Nangyuan you can participate in fun-filled activities like sunbathing, snorkeling at Japanese Garden Reef and hiking to the viewpoint. Start your day with a transfer by minivan in air-conditioned comfort to Thong Sala Pier in the west of Koh Phangan. After a light breakfast, take off your watch and escape to Koh Tao aboard the convenient speed boat. The first stop will be at Lighthouse Bay, Mango Bay, Tanote Bay or Ao Hin Wong on Koh Tao, depending on the tides. Here you can snorkel on beautiful coral reefs in blue water and marvel at the sandbar beaches formed by the ocean's currents. Continue to the private island of Koh Nangyuan which is actually made up of three little teardrops of land connected by a massive sandbar. It’s a place where post-card dreams are made: unique topography, blindingly white sand beaches, and shores teeming with fish and coral. An authentic buffet style Thai lunch is served at the beachfront restaurant. Put on your sunblock before it's time to explore Koh Nangyuan itself which features a dive center and souvenir shop, as well as a breathtaking walk to the hilltop viewpoint in less than 15 minutes. Be sure to bring your cameras for this stunning scenery! Enjoy a fun-filled day, with a choice of sunbathing, short nature trekking or snorkeling in shallow waters at Japanese Garden Reef with many friendly fish species. Soak up the tranquility of a unique destination, far from the stress of modern life, and unwind from your day-to-day worries. Shortly before 3pm it’s already time to return to Koh Phangan. You will be back at your hotel at approx. 4:30pm where you can let this exciting day pass in review. Itinerary: • 08:00 - 08:30: Hotel pickup on Koh Phangan • 08:30 - 08:45: Meet the boat crew of Lomlahk Khirin at Thong Sala Pier • 08:45 - 09:00: Get information about the trip and safety instruction from your guide • 09:00 - 09:20: Enjoy a light breakfast at the pier • 09:20 - 10:30: Board the speed boat and cruise to Koh Tao • 10:30 - 12:00: Snorkel at Lighthouse Bay, Mango Bay, Tanote Bay or Ao Hin Wong • 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch at the restaurant on Koh Nangyuan • 13:00 - 14:45: Free time with snorkeling at Japanese Garden Reef • 14:15 - 14:45: Hike to the viewpoint of Nangyuan • 14:45 - 16:00: Head back by speed boat to Koh Phangan • 16:00 - 16:30: Transfer to the hotel

4.00We had a great time exploring Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan on this well-organized tour. The scheduling was super precise, and the managing team was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the day. We snorkeled at three different spots—while the underwater sights weren’t particularly thrilling, the water was reasonably clear and the guides made sure everyone felt safe and supported. The real highlight was the overall experience: cruising between islands, soaking in the stunning views of Koh Nangyuan and Koh Tao, and enjoying plenty of time in the water. It’s a fun, laid-back adventure that’s perfect for travelers looking for a scenic and easygoing day out. Highly recommended for the views and the vibe, even if you’re not chasing world-class snorkeling.

2.00The trip had been rescheduled due to high swell so we expected better conditions. The crossings were so rough that most people vomited and several left with sore backs,necks and headaches. It was altogether dangerous and unpleasant. Snorkelling was ok but one area most of the coral was dead

4.00Before the tour, I read a review that said, "Not for the faint hearted," and thought they were being ridiculous. However, this boat trip is definitely not for the faint hearted. The crew are great, the snorkeling is amazing, and the beaches were incredible. The journey back is hilariously choppy but I'd suggest you take a sickness tablet if you suffer at all... They just smash you into each and every wave for an hour and a half. If you're an OAP, don't do it. All in all, had a great time.

4.00Well organized trip to an island in the middle of the Thailand sea. On site you can go snorkeling or take a walk. Then you go snorkeling twice more somewhere near a coral. Was a good day.
Not for anyone with motion sickness issues

2.005 stars for the wonderful staff, the negative review is purely due to the extreme seasickness I experienced on this trip and serves as a warning - if you tend to experience any sort of motion sickness this tour unfortunately isn’t for you. The ride to Koh Tao was incredibly choppy since I was told that January is monsoon season (despite it being a beautiful clear day). The kind staff were prepared, passing out baggies for anyone feeling sick - less than an hour into the tour, at least 5 people threw up. I read a lot of reviews warning about this and came really prepared taking Dramamine ahead of the ride (and then multiple doses on the ride). I also had motion sickness bands on my wrists. None of this worked for me and I too was extremely nauseous before we arrived at the first stop (though I managed to not throw up on the boat). The staff were incredibly accommodating allowing me to essentially leave the tour - I truly don’t think I could tolerate more time on this boat and they took me seriously when I told them this. They booked me onto a large ferry from Koh Tao - this was much less choppy and a nice experience back. I was surprised what a difference a bigger boat makes and am really grateful to the staff for arranging for me to leave this tour. Please be careful - if you have any issues with motion sickness at all, I really don’t recommend this tour for you even with motion sickness meds like I had. Take a public boat to Koh Tao instead - it will be a much nicer experience for you.
