  Overcrowded shack on arrival. Nonexistant showers. Guides spoke limited English. Always in a hurry to go to next spot. Never going back

  Was the third stop al lot of corrals and fish, The second stop no rays and the third not worth. The office and the facilities horrible.

  Good instructor with good experience. They can handle alot of trainee. Superb experience and sadly i cant see the Manta as the weather nit in good condition. We will come again to see u Manta.

  Everything is very well organized and you see that people know their job. It was nice boat ride and the scenery was majestic. The only downside was that we didn’t see any mantas nor a turtle but it is nature so it can not be predicted. Nice day spent on the sea!

  Booked via viator with operator sari Nusa penida. Cost USD 85 per person for shared speedboat (25 people) + hotel transfers included. First you are driven from hotel to sanur port then a 45 min ride on a public “fast boat” to Nusa penida, then a speedboat to the 4 snorkelling points, and the same thing to get back. Budi our driver delivered the best service of the trip, very friendly and chatty guy. Five stars for him but not for the rest of the trip which was really nothing to shout about. Fairly smoothly run with not much waiting. Speedboat was nausea inducing as expected and 2 people on our boat were seasick. You have to pay attention to when to return to the boat because with 25 people they may not notice if you’re not there, although they seem to do headcounts at least. As expected the snorkelling points get crowded because our boat already has 25 people and there are other boats at each point. You have to pay attention not to hit other people, and also not to get too close to the boat engine which is still running and can cause injury. First stop manta Bay, water was not clean, unfortunately couldn’t see anything at all. Did see some dolphins in the distance from the boat upon arrival. 2nd and 4th stops crystal and wall point, nice corals and colourful fish. 3rd stop was gamut Bay we were told water was too dirty to see anything. About 10-15 min actual snorkelling at each spot. Post activity they provide an open “shower”- just water - and 1 towel. There are 2 change rooms so you can change out to dry clothes. Overall just some nice corals and nice colourful fish. Probably can try if you’ve never snorkeled and don’t think you’ll get motion sick on the boat, but don’t think experienced snorkelers would be that thrilled.
