Green Island offers the unique opportunity for a combined reef and rainforest experience, just 45 minutes from Cairns by fast catamaran. Home to over 120 native plant species and colourful bird life, surrounded by abundant marine life. Full and half day options available. Your day can be as active or as relaxing as you choose.

As a Great Adventures guest, you’ll also be able to enjoy many exclusive inclusions such as the use of the island swimming pool and a self guided eco island walk to discover some of the island’s unique rainforest flora. The island’s well appointed day visitor facilities include a pool bar, plus restaurant and retail outlets. A delicious range of lunch and snacks can be purchased from the island’s food and refreshment outlets.

Snorkeling wasn’t included in the tour ,we have to pay extra money for snorkeling. They provide snorkeling equipment only and glass bottom boat tour.

Glass bottom boat was a highlight! We saw a massive variety of fish and coral. Snorkelling was difficult with a three year old, but we were able to go close to shore and even saw a starfish. Not a lot to do on the island, but we did make use of the pool.

We are older guys, worried about can we manage the visit. Turn out we had good time got great barrier reef views on glass bottom boat , walk around, and swimming (warm water and smooth sand) on green island ,

Lovely day. Saw lots of fish and coral from boat. Snorkelling fun, sea warm. Changing rooms and toilets and toilets not very nice by end of day.
