Via Ferrata is a fun mix of hiking and climbing for non-climbers! Via Ferrata, is a vertical adventure, assisted by metal rungs, bridges, and a safety cable. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Dress according to weather conditions, it can be a little cooler at the top of the gondola that at the base.
What to bring: Hiking boots or running shoes (no sandals), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, backpack, water, snacks, all weather jacket, light gloves.
Bring a camera with a leash to capture the adventure

On this 1-1.5 hour Squamish Via Ferrata adventure, you easily grab and step on ladder-like rungs, cross exhilarating suspension bridges, and take in the scenic beauty of ocean fjords and snowy peaks all while safely attached to the rock with fixed cables. This is a fun and memorable experience suitable for ages 8 and up (younger children may join on private tours only). Sea to Sky Gondola tickets are not included in the price.

5.00It was amazing. The staff are wonderful and helpful kind. We started out doing good, but when we started to climb, I couldn’t do it. I had to turn back. We had two guides-Nick and Victor. I told my husband to continue and Victor stayed with me and helped me to hike back down to the starting point. I’ve done two before this one and it is amazing the adrenaline and the rush is incredible. I just couldn’t do this one. But WOW! You got to try it. My husband continued and he enjoyed it. . Nick and Victor you’re awesome and amazing. Thank you Victor for all your help and support. M & N😎
This was our second visit to Squamish for the Via Ferrata climb! Absolutely just as fun as the first time if not more!

5.00Great experience getting out on the rock in a safe but fun environment. Not too challenging for an experienced climber, but we had a few in the group who were new and the guide Emile was very patient and encouraging. We had excellent weather with amazing views, and the whole adventure was most enjoyable.

5.00Fantastic experience. Meet up was easy and it was really special taking the gondola up first. Much more mentally challenging than physically challenging. Faced my fears and felt safe and supported the whole time!

5.00This has been an adventure packed vacation but the standout experience goes to the via ferrata tour in Squamish. Expertly led by our instructor, Amile, we climbed the rock faces below the Sea to Sky Experience. This two hour excursion was superb, I felt totally safe as you are clipped on to the wire rope on all the climbing sections. As a novice this was a great way to get a taste of rock climbing, the metal step irons allows you to navigate the ascent without the upper body strength of expert climbers. Amile was super, he made everyone feel confident and safe. A truly lovely guy.

5.00What an amazing adventure! Our guide Emile quickly put any fears to rest and clearly explained safety instructions. He was very knowledgeable about the area and climbing and was encouraging to us all. He kindly took photos for us to save us dropping our cameras! Highly recommend this for a family adventure. Our kids were 13&15.
