Be ready adventure! Explore Meru Betiri National Park to see wild life of sea turtle at night. The iconic turtle for this place is gigantic green turtle. it suitable place for you if you love hide away from crowd, stay inside national park hostel would be great experience. Hunt the turtle that come ashore to lay their egg with the national park ranger and see the hatchery of green turtle on the spot location. The hunting turtle come ashore begins at 19:00 p.m. all the participants go to the sea and leaded by national park ranger. Early morning joining program releasing turtle babies back to the see. Witness these creatures following their instinct to the sea. Wait for the wave grab them and gone.

Sukamade Beach
Joining the night tour to look closer of the sea turtle come ashore laying their eggs under sea sand. Enjoying the tropic nature at night and the sounds of night creatures in the middle of the National Park. Along the trip, the traveler are able to stop by at the local palm sugar and rubber factory to see the process of how to make a traditional palm sugar and rubber.

4.00In the evening watch green turtles lay their eggs. This is interesting to have seen. It is difficult to walk across the stand because no flashlights are allowed. This scares the turtles and then returns to sea.

5.00The whole trip was a fantastic experience. We were picked up neatly on time at our hotel, and then changed to a Jeep at the meeting point. Our guide Yoga and the driver Ansorri have spoiled us these two days very much with information, with humor, with care, with food and drink,... . Searching for the turtles at night is magical, and bringing the baby turtles to sea in the morning is so cute. We got a delicious breakfast in a deserted place on a river. The trip was adventurous but so beautiful

5.00Superb excursion with an exceptional guide and a very good driver. Supri is one of the best guides we ever had .. just that (and we had some!!!) English teacher, very dynamic, always smiling and always want to please his guests! His pedagogy to explain turtles to us was perfect. Choose out of July-August if possible because the area becomes known and you can find very many around a single turtle which dwarfs has made uncomfortable (turtle pee ..) . Dika our driver then brought us voor the Bromo. He drives well and likes to talk. I also recommend it. The road is long until Bromo from sukamade and sew you will get up very early for 3 days so... get in shape! A big bravo to this serious agency for the organization! Morgan

5.00It was a very good tour. We enjoyed the Ijen tour and guide a lot. Our driver, Rizal was very friendly and helpful. The Sukamade part of the tour was very interesting and our guides gave us a lot of information.

5.00It was a great tour! Everything really good organized! The guide did his very best to make sure we saw a turtle, and it worked! We saw a beautiful turtle on the beach. Before we went the owner Yoga answered all my questions at what’s app. Everybody was so kind! We forgot blankets and AirPods. Yoga send everything to our last hotel of our trip. Yoga is the best!

5.00We loved the whole tour so much! We’re very thankful for having Supri and Mr. Pur as our guide and driver. They were always amazing and kind. The things we experienced in the jungle with the turtles was spectacular and so amazing! Seeing the different villages and plantations was so cool and informative. The red island beach was beautiful and such a good ending for the whole tour. The food we got on the tour was fantastic and the best national food we have had in Java. The fruits Supri bought for us was so delicious and fresh. Just what we needed on a hot day. Supri is an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge on so much stuff, and with an amazing kind heart. Mr. Pur is sweet and an incredible driver 😎

5.00We've join several tours in our trip around Indonesia and this is by far the best one. We combined Ijen tour with Sukamade, Nido our guide at Ijen was the best, very detail oriented and clearly knowing what he was doing, Daniel was our driver and was also very nice and helpful. Our experience at Sukamade couldn't have been better, our guide Supri taught use A LOT about the daily life there and also about the animals in the area, our driver Mr. I'm sorry was hilarious and extremely nice. Even Gayuh, the intern who was learning to be a guide was the best. We had the chance to meet Yoga, who organized our tour and we learn a lot about life in Banyuwangi with him. Honestly, if we come back to Indonesia we will book as many tours as we can with East Java Paradise, they are the best!

5.00Guide, Ms. Merry (sic!) found the right balance between information and talking too much, i.e. when we asked something we got well-founded answers, but we also had time to enjoy the silence and nature - for us this mix was perfect. The turtle laying eggs and releasing the young the next day is an unforgettable experience anyway
