It can be chaotic at times with a lot of people to navigate through, and it requires way more walking than I anticipated, but not enough to discourage you because it is super fun! I'll start with the wait time. Not too bad, especially if you pay attention to the time shown on your ticket. Once you get to the lobby, if you are ahead of time, there is a restroom you can use as well as a gift shop that has some neat souvenirs. Once in line, it moves reasonably fast- security check, etc., then the optional sunglasses that are offered because of the potential brightness of the rooms depending on the sun, and booties for your feet presumably to protect the floor from scratches that could occur due to a piece of gravel being stuck in the tread of your shoes. Once glassed and booted, you are directed to a line that leads to an elevator in a darkened hall (builds the suspense!) and then in the elevator the lights strobe and the mirrors make it seem like an experience in its own!!!! The rise up the 90+ floors is very quick. The first floor has glass and mirror lined floors/ceilings, which give the illusion of infinite height and depth. It is also an observation deck so you can look out across Manhattan. I believe that we saw the Chrysler building and the Empire State Building close by, as well as being to see the rooftops of so many other buildings. If you are an observer of the minute details of life- you'll be entertained for quite some time!! We then passed by a chrome blob sculpture, then into the room filled with chrome mylar balloons. What a treat! Then on to the deck that hangs over the street, 90+ stories below! You can bypass this feature, or stand in line to partake, but the wait wasn't bad. 15 minutes, maybe? There was a time limit, and they also take pictures that you can purchase later on, but it certainly is surreal to be standing on a *glass* platform so many stories above the streets of NYC. We ended up at a souvenir shop and bar that had outdoor seating, you could buy the photos that were taken of you earlier. Prices for the photos weren't outrageous. Drinks I am not sure of because I didn't purchase them. Overall, awesome experience and I would recommend to those who like to explore. I'm not entirely certain that younger visitors will appreciate this experience in its entirety, although they certainly seemed to enjoy the chrome mylar ballon room tremendously.

It was very creative and fun! The views were fantastic and there is a lot to see. The wait was a little bit long in the beginning but once inside it was good. Had to wait a little bit to stand on the glass floor.

The views were great but the elevator to take guests to the very top was no working but was told by building staff that even when working it is very expensive which tells me it would not have been worth it to go to the very top price wise.
