Upgrade to, SUMMIT Ascent tickets for the complete SUMMIT Experience plus access to SUMMIT’s most thrilling add-on! With Ascent, Guests will step into an all-glass exterior elevator that travels 12 stories up the side of One Vanderbilt, reaching the highest viewing point in Midtown Manhattan at 1,210 feet (364 meters.)
If Ascent is not operating on the day and time of your visit, you will still experience all 3 floors of SUMMIT and will receive a $24 refund for the Ascent portion of your ticket.

Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.
All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket. Any late arrival is subject to availability and possibly a fee
If your ticket includes the upgrade to Ascent, if it is not operating on the day and time of your visit, you will still experience all 3 floors of SUMMIT and will receive a $24 refund for the Ascent portion of your ticket.

3.00The rooms were interesting. Two rooms were very cool. The views are great through large windows. But there are waaaay too many people. They encourage you to take your time in each room, which means the two cool rooms were super crowded. They need less people per time slot. I wouldn’t go again.

5.00Amazing gives you a beautiful view of skyline of NYC, you should explore the other features of the experience from the breathtaking pictures to the balloon filled area to the picture in the clouds
Don't wear a short skirt here- all the floors are mirrors

5.00This was one of the coolest things we did in New York. The views were fantastic and the rooms really did just get better and better. also, DONT WEAR A SKIRT HERE. There are mirror floors everywhere.

5.00From the moment you walk in Summit One, the experience begins. It's much more than just the view - the mirror room, glass sky boxes, and outdoor area with café really added so much to the overall experience. This is a must-see !

5.00If you only had to choose 1 observatory to visit, it would be the Summit One Vandebilt. The experience is complete, the view is spectacular to various directions, you can see the most iconic points of NY.

5.00Four of us attended and we all loved it. Could have spent all day there. So much to see and not just the amazing views. Fabulous art. It can get busy with ifluencers hogging the “best” photo op locations…. But around every corner is another amazing view so don’t dispair if someone is having a professional photo shoot and hogging an area. There is always the same view the next floor up. We even found a washroom with the most amazing views that was empty. Three of the four of us paid for the additional Ascent which is glass lift going higher. We all said we wouldn’t hesitate to do this again.
Premium experience was the way to go!

5.00We had a wonderful time at Summit One. We weren’t sure what to expect as we were just wanting great views, but we got so much more. The premium is worth it!! From skipping lines to awesome photo packages and access to the glass elevator it was all a great value. The effects made in each room were awesome and the views unbeatable. After the guided tour you are free to stay as long as you would like. Summit One GREAT job!
