  A wonderful day of wine tasting and food! The one caveat is the start of the day - the Auckland quay is a big place to meet and it wasn’t clear where to meet, what line for the ferry to get into, or that we would be met after the ferry over. Better information on the start of the tour needed. One member of the trip didn’t make it, potentially because of this. The operator needs to do better at the start.

  Absolutely awesome day. Our bus driver and guide, Victor, was so easy going, had a great personality, and shared ample information about the island He made our day. His set of final tunes for the day was fitting. All stops were very nice. The views on the island … breathtaking! The olive oil tasting at Allpress Olive Groves was informative and tasty. Lunch at Batch Winery was excellent. The mushroom pate was outstanding! We particularly enjoyed the wines at Mudbrick. What an impressive property!

  The meeting point at the Quay was not clear. You have to go to the Ferry Depot to get your tickets, but that was not crystal clear. I was grateful I could speak to English speaking locals to help guide us to to what we needed to do. Our guide Kai made up for the lack of uncertainty at the start of our day. She was super informative, always aware of the timing, and adjusted our day based on that timing. We enjoyed the wineries. Our favourite was the Mudbrick Winery. Lunch was tasty -- the salmon and the Scotch steak were good choices.

  Beautiful island, great people, and excellent wine&food. You get a great trip around the island while sampling fantastic wines.

  It was three in the afternoon and we had not yet tasted any wine but the glass of food. The food is in a cellar where they don't explain anything, you're just gonna eat. The other two wineries run after eating and it is just half an hour the time you are in each. In the first winery itself (the first I say you will only eat) three wines are tasted in haste. Barely five minutes between one wine and another to fill the same glass with the next. In none of the tastings accompany the wine with anything to eat. In the second and last winery the same thing, a ten minute explanation in which you get five wines in a hurry. In the morning you go to an oil tasting in which a group of more than thirty people were crowded trying seven types of oil awkwardly and very careful not to throw anything. It’s a shame because we wanted to buy both wine and oil and the way things were done took away our desire. At 12.50 they take you to lunch and the food arrived at 13.45 and when it arrived it was raw. Otherwise the guide very friendly and the island very nice.

  Unforgettable experience. The food, wine, and olive oil were all delicious. The tour guide was informative and funny. Such gorgeous views. Would absolutely go again.

  The guide was lovely - the island beautiful and lunch was great - the wine tours nice in that the sites were beautiful but the wines chosen were just ok.

  Tour guides were great, giving a tour of the island, the history of the island, about the Kiwi Birds and predators. It was raining/ drizzling on our trip which was kinda a bummer from standpoint of taking photos outside, however learned about the water issues the island has, so when it rains there the people who live there LOVE the rain as it fills up their water tanks and makes them happy! So that is a blessing in disguise. Loved the olive oil tasting and the wine tasting as well. The last place we went we purchase a bottle of bubbles that we sampled to celebrate my daughters last night in NZ after doing her study abroad for the past 5 months. It was delicious!! Overall do this trip!!

  Tour guide was lovely and the experience on the island was well timed, planned and executed. Felt like an attentive and well-catered experience. The instructions on the Viator app were confusing. Meeting time was listed as 10:15 - and the location was the downtown terminal. Good thing we got there early, the ferry left at 1015 and the location for pickup was pier 13 - not specified on the Viator documentation.
