Fun tour where you sample lots of yummy local food. Our guide Grace was very knowledgeable of the area and led us to some out of way places that non locals would not know about.

The tour concept is fine, but not well managed for us. At 15 the group was too large, particularly in the crowded HK environment. Guide Frankie did not communicate well and seemed a bit disinterested. He spoke quickly over a scratchy low-volume amplifier, and we missed a lot that he said. We started off 15 minutes late while waiting for latecomers. My wife and I abandoned the tour after being left behind on the fairly exhausting climb up a number of streets to the Man Mo Temple.

Andy’s tour around Central and Sheung Wan in Hong Kong was absolutely amazing. It was great to get a glimpse of local life, order at a cha chaan teng, eat dim sum on the street and find out about the cultural history and family life in HK. Andy was great with further recommendations as well, taking us to both traditional and very modern spots to sample traditional, modern and viral food! He is a very interested foodie himself with years of travelling and living in different places around the globe and was a great tour guide as well as food expert! As we walked through various areas, we heard about the culture and history of the area along with explanations of what shops were selling - especially the dried ingredients for soups and stocks and how they are made, fascinating! Thank you for a superb afternoon and evening Andy, loved your tour!

I went to the location identified for a Food Tour. No one showed up. Now I am told I went to the wrong location. I wasted my time and money. I should have my charge reimbursed or a credit for another tour but NO. Beware I would NOT sure Viator again.
