It is the Indo-Nepal border area, the road itself belongs to India and the viewing area falls in Nepal. But you can abundantly walk across over to get the views. An individual can see Maneybhanjan underneath and the beautiful mountains on a clear day. Can also see the narrow winding road leading to Sandakphu on the other side of the valley & the dazzling Kanchenjunga snow peaks. At Simana, you will find several small stalls - some selling tea & snacks, others chocolates and knick knacks.

4.00We had a great day out going to Mirik. We were joined by a guide and stopped a numerous places along the way to see the sights and find out about each places. We particularly loved visiting the monastery. If you’re visiting Darjeeling I recommend contacting the team regarding your stay. They were really helpful making suggestions about what to do, both in Darjeeling town and surrounding areas!
