Formerly the Anne Hutchinson Tour of Provincetown, Lucinda Liphol has taken over the talking points. Her tongue is so sharp she can't close her mouth! She knows each and every fact old or new and simply can't wait to make you laugh using Provincetown's history. Though routes vary, 2025 tours start in the center of town at Bas Relief Park and are each about an hour in duration and a mile in distance. Offered daily. 20 people maximum on each tour. Nearly 400 years ago, they said I had "rather bine a Husband than a Wife... a preacher than a Hearer" and banished me from Massachusetts. Hm, well... I've been able to pull myself back and gain a toehold at the tip of the (now) state that United them all. Please join me in spreading my "corrupt opinions" once more on a history tour through Provincetown's center! As the Puritans' worst nightmare and icon for renovating gender, I think you will find there is no better mouth from which to hear Ptown's story. Leaning into foes' accusations of "Licentiousnesse and sinfull Liberty", some call my modern preaching comedy. Please understand therefore that the tour is for adults only. Do not waste time in discovering the grace of true Christ in your souls and join me as a member of the Elect!

5.00Our tour with Lucinda was outstanding! The hour long tour was filled with historical facts but presented from her view which was incredibly funny and our group laughed pretty much the entire time. It was like being with a walking stand up comedienne.

5.00This was THE BEST walking tour we have done (and we’ve done lots!). Lucinda was knowledgeable, entertaining & incredibly personable. She entertained us while giving great history of Provincetown. I’ve been going there my whole life & definitely learned lots of new info. Highly recommend this tour - Funniest & most informative one you will find 😊

5.00Lucinda was an amazing tour guide. This was a fantastic way to learn about the history of Provincetown. Her jokes and political humor were hilarious and engaging. Definitely suggest this tour if it is your first time visiting.

5.00Lucinda's tour of Provincetown is your best bet for learning all the historical context that has created the weird, ecstatic, queer bohemia of Provincetown that we all love (and sometimes begrudge). I really appreciated that Luncinda also makes a point to skewer and shred contemporary challenges threatening this delicate community and place. Lucinda Liphole is a talented comic, accomplished historian, and ruthless gossip, and no matter how little or much you already know about Provincetown, this is a must while you're visiting. GO!

5.00One of the highlights of our trip to the east coast. Lucinda was a fabulous guide! Learned some interesting facts about Provincetown and its history. The info was presented with great humor, lots of innuendo, and some timely political humor. Maybe not the tour for everyone but for us, it was awesome. Lucinda was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend if you want to learn about Ptown in a *fun* way!

5.00I recommend this tour for anyone interested in history and current political commentary. Lucinda is knowledgeable and also hilarious. Her stories of Provincetown are very entertaining, and told in a way that you want to hear more. The tour is an hour that goes by like it is 10 minutes. I give this tour 12 out of 10 stars.

Quick-witted and intelligent, she is able to deliver a tour that provides some of the history of Provincetown you wouldn't even have thought to ask about. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.
