Elvira was so amazing from the pickup at our hotel, the morning at Montserrat, lunch at a great local place and finishing up at a stellar winery (Grau Grau) we had the best experience. Her knowledge and flexible attitude allowed us to enjoy the sites at our own pace. Her focus on customer satisfaction included pinging us often on our likes & dislikes! She can customize any tour to your preferences and allow you to experience Barcelona from a locals perspective.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that wants to have a complete trip in Montserrat. The guide engaged with my kids and a scavenger hunt was included at the Monastery. Besides we had some fun with the owner of a boutique winery close by.

We had such a great time with Elvira! She’s super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. The Montserrat tour was amazing — beautiful views, interesting stories, and just the right mix of history and fun. It honestly felt like spending the day with a friend who knows all the best spots. If you're in Barcelona and want a more personal and local experience, Elvira’s your girl. Totally recommend!

We wanted a simple day focused only on the monastery. Elvira with Go Local Barcelona provided just that and more! Instead of the embedded costs and hassle of a car, we wanted an easy and relaxing way to experience Montserrat. We meet her at Plaça d’ Espanya and took a 60-minute train to Montserrat, followed by a 5-minute cable car up to the monastery, taking in every feet of the mountain’s amazing elevation From there, we hiked 30 minutes up to the cross, followed by a one hour tour of the monastery and museum. We embarked on the same journey down catching the next departing train within 15 minutes. Elvira manages the day and time perfectly. We would have never been able to see it all as simply and stress-free on our own. All in, the trip was 6 hours, start to finish. We didn’t have to do anything, but show up. If you’re looking for an option that’s a complete experience with no effort, this tour is for you!

An amazing day in Monserrat with Elvira! She took care of every detail. Tix for the train (more fun, better views and cheaper than a car). Tix for the cable car (first in line). Beautiful hike and then the monastery tour with expert commentary the entire time from start to finish. Elvira’s knows her history, she knows how to make it fun for the family, she knows how to make the travel to and from simple. We loved our day with her and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.
