We had a wonderful evening with Hiro: He has a very international background, speaks excellent English and German and is culturally very knowledgeable which allows him to explain the subtleties of Japanese cuisine and dining decorum in very clear and helpful terms. He took us through the myriads of different restaurants under the railway arches near Ginza and had us try first a fish restarant with sashimi and crab croquettes and then to a traditional sunken table restaurant specialising in various chicken dishes and a memorable dumpling soup. The food was delicious and our conversation freeflowing and very engaging. We couldn‘t think of a better way of getting acquainted with local dining!
