This is a really nice tour for half a day . Not many people do this as tourists so it feels very special (literally we were the only group ) . The walk around tea gardens, and the views were stunning . The tea museum is also delightful ( also an escape from the rain ). The cute village near the tea ceremony with the children singing songs about glowworms and dancing in the rain was the most adorable thing I saw ( not included in the tour but very sweet to see local life) . The tea ceremony was good fun, the two brothers witty and sharp . My only niggle was that the guide wore a mask and so the whole tour on the bus was muffled and we couldn’t understand him. However I wasn’t too keen on information so just slept through it . All in all good experience .

We really enjoyed our tour with Walter. He had great commentary on the history of Taiwan and he made sure that we spent enough time at each stop. The highlight of our tour was the tea ceremony. We loved getting to try the different local teas. Would highly recommend this tour to other travelers.

A day trip into the beautiful tea country and hills outside of Taipei? Such a fun tour. It was easy to meet up with our guide, and we enjoyed his explanations of the tea country and its history in Taipei. The stops were lovely. Our kids really enjoyed the interactive exhibits in the tea museum, and we had lots of laughs at the tea tasting. A wonderful day trip.

The view was beautiful, and there was a very nice tea tasting at the end. I highly recommend it if you want to get out of the city.
