5.00Touring with Shino felt less like a guided tour and more like being shown around by a knowledgeable friend. Her English is excellent, and her understanding of Japanese culture added so much depth to every place we visited. What made this experience truly special were the hidden spots and local connections we never would have found on our own. We explored real neighborhoods, met amazing people, and saw a side of Tokyo that felt authentic and personal. This wasn’t about rushing from landmark to landmark, it was about meaningful moments, great conversations, and memories that will stay with us long after the trip. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a deeper, more genuine Tokyo experience!

5.00I had an amazing experience with Shino. She was very knowledgeable about the Imperial Palace and the history of the Shogunate. She made sure that I saw the entire castle and the beautiful gardens. Very interesting and friendly.

5.00Shino was an incredible tour guide! We met on our first day in Tokyo, and she gave us good tips for getting around the city. She took us to places we would have never discovered on our own, and gave us great information about each of them. We tried a lot of great food as well during our tour. Shino is not only knowledgeable but also an engaging conversationalist. We learned a lot about Japan that you can't find in a book. This tour is truly a hidden gem on here, a must do!

Her English is excellent, she's personable and warm, and she has something interesting to add about every stop. Highly, highly recommend!

The hidden gems she introduced me to were somehow exactly what I had wished for.

5.00I had a wonderful day exploring Yanaka with Shino! The food was absolutely delicious (I especially enjoyed the mochi and sushi!), in places I likely wouldn’t have ventured into myself. I really enjoyed Yanaka the last time I visited, but having a guide like Shino unlocked new layers of this great little neighbourhood. She was really generous with her knowledge and answered my questions about Japanese culture and folklore so thoughtfully too! Shino was super accommodating of my food preferences on short notice and she took time and care to tailor things to make sure it was a great experience. She was also so easy to chat to and a lovely person to spend time with in general! Highly recommend a tour with Shino!

5.00Shino is a great guide. She is very knowledgeable about Japanese history and culture. She also knows the best places to go. The food was amazing and the temple was gorgeous. The garden inside the temple was the highlight for me. I would really recommend this tour.

5.00We explored Shibamata town with Shino, it was a great experience! Definitely a hidden gem in Tokyo, it was nice te escape the crowds and enjoy a quieter area with delicious food and a beautiful temple, especially the garden. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of food that was included, definitely a standout point for this tour. Shibamata is also known from the movie series about Tora-san, a nostalgic character for a lot of Japanese, so it was interesting to learn about the less mainstream parts of Japan’s popculture.
