Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

5.00Delightful guide Arneta! Very sweet and knowledgeable. She went back and forth between English and Spanish and I feel like I missed some of the commentary because I zoned out during the Spanish and then realized she was speaking English again. Fair warning to future guests choosing this tour: lots of hills to climb😳😳

4.00I really liked the whole experience but I would make one change. Give us more time for shopping. We were looking for souvenirs when we realized we had to get back and we barely made it. Other than that one change, the tour guide was great and it was a nice experience. We learned so much about the history of Toledo by visiting different historical sites and learning from the guide. I would rather stay longer at the end to have additional time to explore.

5.00Excellent tour of Toledo with Arancia. Headphones made it easy to listen whilst exploring. Cathedral is stunning and our guide made sure we saw the best bits whilst it was relatively empty.
