So, We hope to provide our best safari experience for you. come and visit us. Udawalawe National Park is a national park on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.

What a delightful day! Plentiful peacocks, playful monkeys and majestic elephants all around! Gimhana was a knowledgeable guide, teaching us about all the animals we encountered and determined to show us as many different species as possible. We were so enthralled with the elephant family that were feeding mere feet from the jeep! At one point, we counted 11 elephants in our immediate vicinity. Amazing!! Additionally, we saw a few jackals, beautifully colored green bee-eater birds, Sri Lankan jungle fowl, water buffalo, a large mongoose, a beautiful little star tortoise, a crocodile and countless egrets and cranes. Thank you, Gimhana, for being such a caring, careful guide and for giving us such a memorable experience!

This was our second safari in Sri Lanka and our favourite. After pick-up we were quickly in the park and saw loads of animals - too many elephants to count as well as crocodiles, langur, various bird species and more. Gimhana had a keen eye and knew lots about the animals, always checking we were ready before he would move on. Highly recommend if you are in the area 🙂🐘

Excellent time for this jeep safari with Gimhana, very nice. He knows the places of interest perfectly and allows you to see the animals! It was great and want to do it again!!!

Great tour - so lucky to have seen so many animals including lots of elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, buffalo, cows, deer, lizards. The vehicle we drove in was extremely comfortable even with the bumpy terrain. Our tour guide was excellent and was so good to find and point out animals and plants for us - some varieties of birds we would have missed without him. 4 hour tour was perfect and we drove all around the park, ideal time. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible experience! Could not recommend more. Was so fun going around in the safari vehicle looking out for animals and spotting so many things we had never seen before. We so many incredible close encounters with wildlife. The team was very welcoming and entertaining and knowledgable.
