Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters. Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 10 to 15 minutes.
The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes.

We cannot accommodate any kind of electric scooter or electric wheelchair, even very small ones.

5.00It was an amazing tour , got to see humpbacks sea lions and an orca !!! The guys doing the tour are awesome !!! It was so much fun and exciting it was basically a bucket list kind of day .

4.00I want to start by saying the whale watching part of the tour was great. We had a great time the whales was out and we got to see them. We got back on time and the captin and tour guide of the cattermeran was great. The light snack bar was given but no water. But hears my hang up in my description it said Mendenhall photo stop and we didn't get that. When we arrived we walked to the bus we saw said Juneau tours. We asked the bus driver was this where we needed to be as there is too many different directions in the app. If this is your first time you want know where you are. He sent us to a lady in the rain might I add. She checks us in then say come back to here at 5 till which was only 5 mins. We go stand under this metal overhang to shelter from the rain. Then she calls us back to her in the rain all to be put on the same bus we asked the man at first who was sitting on the empty bus out of the rain. Last but not lease no photo stop and when we asked the man gave us a card to call we did got no one. Then he stats to call and someone tells him we get that stop if glacier is clear and it wasn't so no photo stop. I feel that was some bs because if it was apart of the stop to begin with we would've been told this by the tour guide and he had no clue. I also never got a call back from my voice mail I left. My husband and my friend spent good money just want what we was promised and they book because of my recommendation.
