What is the DMZ – an exciting experience like no other

While the Cold War happened a long time ago, Korea is the only country that still remains divided as a consequence. The DMZ lies on the border between the North and the South. This is the most heavily fortified border in the whole world, so don’t miss the chance to see it!

OPTIONAL : Gondonla

Gondola tour is one of our most popular DMZ tours and can also be an excellent alternative to our DMZ Tour when political or military events restrict access to some of the stops on those tours.

OPTIONAL : Red Suspension Bridge

The Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Korea at 220m long and 1.5m wide. It can hold up to 900 adults and is constructed to withstand 30 meters per second winds and earthquakes of up to 7 magnitude. Its stunning scenic views make it the perfect spot to capture beautiful photos, and it is always well-received.

We offer three convenient meeting points in downtown Seoul. These are Myeongdong Subway Station (Exit 9), Seoul City Hall Subway Station (Exit 6), and Hongdae Subway Station (Exit 3). Here you can meet your lovely tour guide and our comfortable DMZ tour bus. Please aim to arrive around 10-15 minutes early, in case of any delays, and to ensure you find your way to the meeting point on time.

This was a tour that took us from Seoul up to the DMC. It was a great tour for my family of four with two older teenagers. We learned a lot and had the most enjoyable and informative tour guide Alex! He made the tour the best!

Overall the experience was good but it was rushed. Hardly any time to grab food or shop—and I’m not saying I needed an hour for each. Less than 15 min free time at each stop. The tunnel was perhaps the least interesting because it’s a long downhill walk where one could hit one’s head on the ceiling (helmet provided) if taller than 5’9” or so. And at the bottom there isn’t much to see and there is no time to linger. Perhaps 10 seconds to see the digging point. Then strenuous uphill. Gondola ride is nice over the paddy fields but nothing to see on the other side except a tank. Observation tower was ok but no photos allowed as N Korea said they would shoot anyone with a camera. Not sure that’s true given there were 20 binoculars to look through. Our tour guide, Judy, was one of the best I’ve ever had. Knew everything. Spoke clear English. Excellent!

Incredible experience. We had José as our guide (a name he chose to make it easier for us to remember), he made the experience very enjoyable, he speaks very good Spanish and explains everything wonderfully with great detail. I found the excursion to be very complete, curious, and interesting. I believe it is a must-do if you come to Korea because you learn all about the history of the conflict, and if you are lucky enough to have José as your guide, you will have the most complete and pleasant experience you can imagine!!
