Col our tour guide was knowledgeable and we even saw a lizard on our walk. The BBQ was served under the stars and a full moon for a truly magical night.

The tour was good for the tour guide and what it was, but I guess I just wasn’t very into the history and things so that’s a personal problem. The sunset champagne and charcuterie are what made this super special, to be honest. We all felt the same way where we weren’t into it and then the sunset touch was really special watching it go over Uluru and it was just a great moment connecting with others on the tour. I think the cost of this tour should be half of what it is though.

From hotel pickup around 3.00 pm to return around 10.00 pm this was an exceptional day. The history and cultural relevance of Uluru was explained and reinforced by staff and sensitivity to the indigenous population and owners of this land respected. Inside the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park we enjoyed a visit to a cultural centre, followed by a drive around the rock to Kapi Mutitjulu watering hole and then a stop at the old route taken up the rock prior to this insensitive practice being stopped in 2019. We then enjoyed a sunset drinks experience at a nearby viewing platform. For those who added the BBQ experience we were then transported back inside the park to the base of the rock for a wonderful two course meal with drinks, tea/coffee and beautifully completed with a star gazing presentation and talk.

The tour guides were knowledgeable and humorous. Really enjoyed every aspect of the tour. From the cultural centre to the walks at the base and sunset viewing, all was fantastic.
