It was a great experience, the guide was there at the temple waiting for us and we easily found him. Then they escorted us though the temple and we took pictures of the sunset and learned about the temple. We got rained on but they gave us free ponchos and it was still nice.

Worth the visit if in Uluwatu. Found the fire dance performance entertaining and insightful to the traditions and culture surrounding it. The info sheet was great which gave a background to the dance and what each act was about. Amazing seeing such talent! The voices filled the entire stadium. However if you do decide to go make sure you leave sunglasses, glasses bags etc behind because the monkeys will climb up onto you and take them and run off. This happened to us and thankfully there was a guide nearby who bribed them with fruit to get them back!

Our guide Ketut Suriana was very informative, we learnt a lot about Balinese Hindu culture. Ketut was also very good at making sure the monkeys behaved themselves. The Kecap dance was a lot of fun, the dancers were all so amazing.

Visiting the Uluwatu temple and especially watching the Kecak Fire Dance is the highlight of my visit to Bali. You have this beautiful temple by the cliff next to the ocean and the amazing view! And thank you to the friendly local guide, Ketut for showing us around 😊

The Uluwatu Temple was stunning at sunset, and the Kecak Fire Dance was absolutely mesmerizing — full of energy, culture, and atmosphere. Everything ran smoothly and the views over the ocean were breathtaking. A must-do experience in Bali!

Our guide was super friendly and caring, the stories he shared with us about the temple and the local culture were touching and deep. And he was so gentleman to protect us from the monkeys but was kind and gentle to the monkeys as well.

Kecak dance show is widely considered a worthwhile cultural spectacle if you manage expectations regarding crowds and arrive early to secure a good seat, ideally booking tickets online in advance to avoid hustle. I had amazing day. Thank you to Pak Ketut he was really a helpful and knowledgeable guide.

Our tour guide Kadek Pedro was an excellent guide who was attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. Pedro took time to explain the history of the temple as well as its cultural and religion significance to Balinese people. He also introduced us to the monkeys that live in the grounds of the temple, while taking care to make sure that we understood the dos and don't when it came to interacting with them. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and appreciated Pedro's knowledge, wisdom and infectious smile. The Kecak fire dance that followed the tour was also a great experience. We especially liked the scenes featuring the monkey god (Hanuman).
