5.00First off, what made this tour special was Kevin himself. Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the food culture of Hanoi. The tour takes you on a carefully curated path through the streets of Hanoi covering the full spectrum of Vietnamese cuisine, including some local secrets easily missed by all but the sharpest eyed travelers. One moment we were sitting on a tiny plastic stool enjoying perfectly prepared clams and snails in a local alleyway, and the next we were seated in an elegant dining room experiencing a modern interpretation of traditional flavors at a Michelin recognized spot. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and authentic. Truly an unforgettable experience, come hungry and curious, 5/5.

5.00We had the best time on our food tour in Hanoi! Wandering around the buzzing Old Quarter and popping into local eateries was such a fun way to experience the city. The street food was unbelievably fresh and so delicious — honestly, we loved every single bite. It was really cool to also visit a Michelin-listed restaurant and see another side of the food scene, then finish the night in a great cocktail bar. Such a perfect way to end the tour! Kevin was an amazing guide — super friendly, easy to chat to, and full of interesting info about the food and the area. You can tell he really loves what he does. We’d 100% recommend doing this tour with him if you’re in Hanoi. Such a brilliant experience!

5.00Kevin’s foodie tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and French Quarter is an unforgettable experience, certainly the highlight of my first visit to Vietnam. He brings you to places that tourists would never find on their own. Each place offers a signature dish that’s either unique to Hanoi or the specialty of that restaurant. As you walk from place to place, you get a glimpse of the visual and sensory charms of Hanoi. Kevin loves what he does and is enthusiastic about sharing his favorite flavors of Vietnam. I highly recommend his tour.

5.00Truly a 10/10 experience! Kevin tailored the tour exactly after our needs and took us to places we would have never found otherwise. He made us try authentic local dishes that we have never heard about and they blew our mind. You have to try this tour if you really interested in Hanoi’s food culture. It’s also a great way to see the city as Kevin will take you to turist attractions but also small hidden gems and streets where mainly the locals are.

5.00What a terrific morning out with Kevin. Loved that he brought us to foods other than the usual run of the mill Banh Mi or Pho… of course he shared thr must visit spots but he got us spots at places we would not have thought to check out… including a very cool cocktail bar as a finisher! Kevin was great company- funny and cool. He very kindly took us to try something we had wanted to and he hadn’t planned but we managed to make a short impromptu pit stop. Of course there are cheaper food tours around that just bring you to all the listed Michelin Bib Gourmand… but those are group tours whereas Kevin’s is a private one. Also, he brings you to check out some places that TikTok does not tell you about. So def worth the extra.

5.00Kevin is the BEST! Our plane was delayed, and we got a late start, but he was very chill about the delay and made sure we didn't miss a thing. Having read other reviews, we knew to be hungry for this, but we were still surprised at the amount and variety of food! Kevin made sure we tried everything and that we got a seat for the Train Street. He also shared history and traditions of Vietnam with us as we walked, and fearlessly crossed streets.IYKYK! We highly recommend this tour.
Great guide, great locations, good value. Book to avoid disappointment.

5.00Kevin was friendly talkative and spoke great English. He took us to many different places to eat from street stalls to a Michelin rated restaurant. We tried some doughnuts , a worm burger , crispy roast pork , egg coffee , amazing fish, prawn and duck dishes . We also got to see the train market. Kevin is a great guide. I would recommend if you are interested in more locally tailored places than a typical Tour which will take you to the western catering places.

5.00As a solo female traveler, this Private Unstoppable Gourmet Gastronomic Tour was everything I could have hoped for and more. From the start, Kevin made me feel completely comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. The tour was fully customized to my interests, appetite and new offetings that I did not even know I would like, and trust me, his goal is to make sure you leave absolutely stuffed, so come hungry! Kevin kept feeding me until I honestly had to say I couldn’t eat another bite. Every stop was delicious, authentic, and thoughtfully chosen. All the food was elevated options that included places that locals eat at and multiple Michelin rated restaurants. He was more than happy to add a stop at Train Street, which was such a fun and memorable experience, and he was also willing to let me stop at local stalls to shop whenever something caught my eye. What truly sets this tour apart is that Kevin’s only goal is to make sure you have the most memorable experience possible. The tour felt personal, relaxed, and completely tailored to me. I never once felt like “just another guest.” If you’re traveling solo (especially as a woman) and want an amazing food experience with a guide who truly goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough! It's worth every penny and Kevin was sooo great that I may add another tour for different foods with him before I leave. He is THAT good! You wont be disappointed.
