Antelope Canyon is one of the most famous slot canyons in the world, favored by photographers. Located in northern Arizona, this stunning wonder belongs to the Navajo Aboriginal Reserve. Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain - Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is the most frequently visited by tourists. Its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Beams or shafts of direct sunlight radiating down from openings are much more common in Upper than in Lower.

Due to the high demand and the restrictions on the number of visitors for each time slot, the actual entry time may be adjusted even after confirmation, especially at peak season.
The use of selfie sticks, tripods and monopods are prohibited
Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the canyon
Important: Please bring water with you and stay hydrated, Antelope Canyon is very remote and there are no stores to purchase water.
Due to the narrow passageway inside the Canyon, please follow Navajo tour guide's instruction and arrangement when taking pictures. Tour guide leads each visitor group to walk through the canyon. Each visitor group has its assigned time period to take photos at each scenery point. So while enjoying the wonders of Mother Nature, please do not stand still for a long time. Otherwise you may block visitors in the following group. Please understand that depending on the congestion level, tour guide may require that each visitor or family group can only take one photo at one scenery point.

Visitors along with children/infants must bring own car seats and install on shuttle vehicles.

Upper Antelope Canyon
Formed by erosion of Navajo Sandstone, Antelope Canyon is home to deep corridors and flowing smoothing edges and a favorite stop among hikers and photographers. Upper Antelope Canyon referred to by the Navajo as "the place where water runs through rocks" and is the most frequently visited slot canyon with beams of direct sunlight radiate down from openings at the top of the canyon. 5.00Had a fantastic experience touring Upper Antelope Canyon, and a huge part of that was our guide, Levi. He was personable, lighthearted, and kept the group comfortable from the start with jokes and conversation, which was especially nice since most of us didn’t know each other beforehand. I did the 10:40 a.m. tour in late May, and we were able to see the famous light beams coming through the canyon, which was incredible in person. Levi mentioned that even more light comes through after the summer solstice because of the sun’s positioning, but the timing of our tour still ended up being perfect for seeing them. He shared a lot of interesting information throughout the tour, spoke clearly and was easy to hear, and was incredibly helpful with photos along the way. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated that he offered to take pictures at some of the key spots in the canyon. He also showed us how to adjust filters/settings on our phones at the beginning so the canyon walls would photograph better, which honestly made a big difference. Overall, it was a super pleasant experience and one I’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

1.00Could never find the location even using the pin they sent us and could never get any help when trying to contact them. Had to pay for another trip with a different company. Guide that we went with called all the different companies here and no one could find our reservation. They said Viator is terrible and this happens all the time. Find someone ekse

5.00Upper Antelope Canyon was as beautiful as the pictures I had seen. Our guide, Dana, was Great. She helped us with filter setting on our phones that made pictures look beautiful. She gave us interesting information all through the tour. I enjoyed every minute of her show this beautiful tour of the canyon.

1.00We flew to Phoenix and got a rental car. When we drove to Page for this tour, I got very bad altitude sickness when drove by Flagstuff. My Mom doesn’t speak English, so the restaurant manager called 911 and I was taken to ER. I can’t make to the tour on time, when I contact the company, I was told I had to call a number so I called. Then I was told this is a 3rd party booking and this company refused to give me a refund. My suggestion is, do NOT book from this 3rd party company, book from the real tour company. When I talked to the real tour company I was told they would give me a refund if I booked through them. Very bad experience! I’ll never book from 3rd party company anymore!

4.00The guide, Oliver, was excellent. Not a real long tour but the visuals were amazing. Don’t forget to purchase your Navajo permit. My honest opinion is it’s a little overpriced for the amount of tour you get in the upper antelope Canyon. It’s not real long once you finish and you ascended up over where he had just been.

5.00A bit of a hike back to the shuttle. Incline. The canyon was gorgeous! Went in the afternoon and the lighting was beautiful.
