Antelope Canyon is one of the most famous slot canyons in the world, favored by photographers. Located in northern Arizona, this stunning wonder belongs to the Navajo Aboriginal Reserve. Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain - Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is the most frequently visited by tourists. Its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Beams or shafts of direct sunlight radiating down from openings are much more common in Upper than in Lower.

Due to the high demand and the restrictions on the number of visitors for each time slot, the actual entry time may be adjusted even after confirmation, especially at peak season.
The use of selfie sticks, tripods and monopods are prohibited
Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the canyon
Important: Please bring water with you and stay hydrated, Antelope Canyon is very remote and there are no stores to purchase water.
Due to the narrow passageway inside the Canyon, please follow Navajo tour guide's instruction and arrangement when taking pictures. Tour guide leads each visitor group to walk through the canyon. Each visitor group has its assigned time period to take photos at each scenery point. So while enjoying the wonders of Mother Nature, please do not stand still for a long time. Otherwise you may block visitors in the following group. Please understand that depending on the congestion level, tour guide may require that each visitor or family group can only take one photo at one scenery point.

Visitors along with children/infants must bring own car seats and install on shuttle vehicles.

Upper Antelope Canyon
Formed by erosion of Navajo Sandstone, Antelope Canyon is home to deep corridors and flowing smoothing edges and a favorite stop among hikers and photographers. Upper Antelope Canyon referred to by the Navajo as "the place where water runs through rocks" and is the most frequently visited slot canyon with beams of direct sunlight radiate down from openings at the top of the canyon. Please note: You will receive separate instructions for your meeting location and time by email. Please note that late arrival or not following the instructions may result in the loss of your refund.

5.00Do not book through Viator. The tour operator changes time of the tours on very short notice and they do not communicate with Viator. Our tour was 1 1/2 hours later than scheduled and we did not get any notification. The activity itself is great but the process to get to the canyon was a messy process.

5.00The canyon is beautiful, but our tour guide, Clint, made this experience one in a million! He was full of knowledge, is a great photographer and knows all the great angles and lighting, he was kind and funny, and to top it off he played a song for us with a wooden flute and it was magical! 1000/10 would recommend, and be sure to ask for Clint!

5.00Watch the times and dates, read the communications from Viator carefully. They contain all the essential information you need but you must read them. Our tour guide Mike was excellent. He helped a lot with the photos. It was nice to be in a small group too. And one person in our group used a cane. Mike wisely suggested he not do the return trip up the stairs but that he should go back through the Canyon. He assigned one of our group to lead us on the stairs and went with the other guest back through the canyon. Very wise decision.

5.00Be ready to be amazed at the shapes of the canyon. Our guide is a expert at taking pictures. The ride out to the canyon was nice.

5.00as seniors we were concerned with the hike; it was a breeze getting thru the canyon and rather than take the more challenging hike back to parking area we just walked back thru the way we came.

5.00Mike was an excellent tour guide and assisted with both teaching and taking the most excellent pictures. Cannot say enough for what he offered. Sadly, there is a disconnect between Viator and the company with addresses not matching. This particular offer highlights multiple companies. Trust the info from the company and their PDFs not Viator.

5.00I was told that the tours around noon give you the best results for your photos because of the way the sun comes in. Very enjoyable and safe for most people. There are lots of ladders to climb!

4.00Difficult to find. Two companies working from the same place and nobody had a fight or sign. Also, price at the location was $30 less than online. On a good part, it was first time for me to do something like this and our guide did a great job giving us time for pictures and telling us where to stand. Nice group of people.

5.00We had the most amazing time in antelope canyon. Our guide, Roger was the best! We considered ourselves lucky to have gotten him. He gave us so much history and showed us how to capture the most amazing photos inside the canyon. Antelope Canyon Navajo tours are the way to go!
