Hi, my name is Lucas and i'll be your food guide in Utrecht!
I am a local from Utrecht who has been doing tours for many years.
Are you a food lover, culinair expert, or just hungry? Then join us!
You will get to see how our traditional dutch cookie is freshly made and how a dish called 'poffertjes' (tiny pancakes) is made.
Next to that, you also get to try out a dutch snack wall and i will challenge you to eat a pastry that you can not eat without making a mess. Even we dutchies struggle with it, but don't worry, i'm bringing napkens :)
At last, if you are not filled up yet, you will get to try a dutch party snack.
Next to all the yummy food, i will also tell you some stories about Utrecht and the places we visit. So you get food and stories in one tour!

5.00FIVE STAR* At short notice, our tour guide was able to organise our tour outside of normal touring days, to take our group of 7 on a very enjoyable 2hr journey walking through Utrecht hearing about Utrecht’s history whist stopping along the way for traditional Dutch bites and an expensive stop at the cheese shop 😉 finished off with a final bite and cool beer. Very quick to respond to emails and very good value for money, I would recommend Lucas and his Utrecht Food Tour!

5.00This was our second tour with Lucas and we were as impressed as we were on the first tour. He has such a friendly and easy going manner that makes you feel so welcome. This tour included tasting foods. Lucas catered for my GF requirements and always sourced something else for me (which was much appreciated). We had a good variety of foods to sample and enjoy a walk with some extra facts thrown in. You will have a great tour with Lucas. Highly recommend.
