5.00Malta is a great holiday destination for a week away. The island of Malta and especially the capital Valletta is beautiful. Many beautiful churches and other buildings, especially St. Paul's Cathedral is incredibly beautiful. The city has cozy shopping streets, nice terraces and great restaurants, is clean and not expensive. In addition, definitely visit Rabat, Mdina, Marsaxklokk, the islands of Sliema and Gozo and the Blue Lagoon, but then choose a favorable time, because otherwise it is far too busy.
