Wind your way through a red rock paradise, with tracks that hug the curves of the Verde River. Every season offers a different reason to ride! Astonishing views of a wild and vibrant frontier, historic trestles, bridges and a 7000-foot tunnel are just a few of the highlights tucked into unusual rock formations, red rock pinnacles and towering crimson cliffs. Majestic bald eagles and hawks float effortlessly on the breeze above Javelina, wild burros, jackrabbits and many other Canyon creatures, peacefully coexisting with this heritage railroad for more than 100 years.

At the depot, be sure to visit the John Bell Museum, home to the railroad's history and artifacts from its early days, as well as a wealth of information on Clarkdale, Jerome and the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

5.00It was awesome. I always wanted to experience what it felt like to be on a train. I guess I would say it was on my bucket list. The experience was great!! The employee's on the train were pleasant and amusing. The ride its self was spectacular. I definitely would recommend it. Thank you.

5.00Beautiful & scenic , the services was great , accommodating as well informative, Michelle was so wonderful making sure we were as taken care of . Tristan was full of information about the whole ride and making sure we didn’t miss a thing . The lunch provided was great as well as the charcuterie plate .

5.00Truly unique experience. Each car has a one person that will make drinks for you and will also tell you interesting facts about the ride . It is a 4 hr trip . I never looked to see what time it was . The loveseats was comfy and the car was very comfortable temperature wise. The bath room was also very clean . . I would recommend 10 out 10 to anyone . A very relaxing day spent with my loved ones. Thank you we will be back with the grandchildren at Christmas ! PS bring cash to tip your host !

5.00The whole experience was well organized! The train Docents were very knowledgeable, talked, listened and answered all questions to everyone on board! I hardly ever leave a review am usually not impressed with the service everywhere, but this is not the case! You can not find a better place to spend about 4 hours. Food was great, bartender in all passenger cars for those who wish to indulge! Awesome topography and information about the river and its history as well as history of mining in the general region. Just impressed at every turn, and there are a lot of them! The clickity clack ride was reminiscent of years past. Can't say enough!

5.00Excellent experience. Comfy seats. Great staff. Very organized. We were aboard Tuscan with Cheryl and Neal. Both were exceptional. Make reservations online in advance as they sell out quickly.
