Victoria Falls Bridge
From our meeting point, our desk at the N1 Hotel, we begin a small-group guided walk along a quiet bush path, where we may encounter impalas, warthogs, and baboons in their natural habitat. We pass a local Arts & Crafts market, supporting local artisans, before reaching the border checkpoint. Your guide handles all formalities smoothly. After crossing, we continue with the spray and thunder of Victoria Falls growing stronger at every step, until we reach the historic Victoria Falls Bridge. We cross slowly, enjoying unforgettable views of the Falls, Batoka Gorge, and the Zambezi River below. On the Zambian side, we visit a small museum with a bridge model and historic photos, offering insight into the region’s past. A short walk leads to a panoramic viewpoint—one of Victoria Falls’ hidden gems—perfect for photos. We return at a relaxed pace, sharing local stories and history, while directly supporting local guides and communities.

5.00Really interesting activity with a fair walk towards the bridge and our guide Mthabisi was so very kind ,attentive and shared many informations about the bridge history and much further about the gorge ,the falls and the wildlife around,in conclusion that was totally value for money.

2.00The guide was nice but the add for this tour is a little misleading. Since this was our first visit to VF, we did not know that you only see a “small” portion of the falls. So, the day we went to the park to see the falls & bridge. We felt like we spend our time and money and got little in return. Don’t waste your money for this tour - very disappointing!

5.00The tour is generally highly recommended, as the guide Mthabisi is extremely nice and knows a lot about the history of the bridge. I did the tour at 2 p.m. - I would advise against that, as it was 40°C in the - barely existent - shade.

5.00My recent walking safari in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, was an absolute delight, and I can't praise it enough! The tour named "Walking Safari to the Falls, Bridge and Beyond with Savannah," was a five-star adventure that exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to my wonderful guide named Junior. For some reason the communication was not very clear with the company about me doing the tour early in the morning but as soon as I made connection with the company they quickly organised for junior to come and assist me. From the very beginning, Junior's warm and welcoming personality set the tone for the day. His genuine enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge of the area and its natural wonders was infectious. It was evident that he was not just a guide but a true ambassador for Victoria Falls. What truly stood out about Junior was his wealth of knowledge. He seemed to have an encyclopedic understanding of the local flora, fauna, and history of the region. His explanations were both informative and engaging, bringing the surroundings to life in a way that captivated me. One of the most remarkable aspects of this tour was Junior's willingness to go the extra mile. When I expressed my desire to explore a bit more of the area, he was more than happy to accommodate my request. We ventured off the beaten path and discovered hidden gems that added an extra layer of enchantment to the journey. One notable advantage of this tour was the absence of the $50 bridge-crossing fee, which is typically required for those who wish to view the falls from that vantage point. Despite not crossing the bridge, we still enjoyed breathtaking views of the falls from a different angle, offering a unique perspective that many tourists miss out on. It was especially thrilling to witness bungee jumpers taking the leap from the bridge as we admired the falls from our viewpoint. In summary, my walking safari with Junior in Victoria Falls was an unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Junior's exceptional guiding skills, coupled with the opportunity to explore the falls without the bridge fee, made this tour a standout. It's an enriching and immersive way to connect with the natural beauty of Victoria Falls, and I can't thank Junior and the team at Savannah enough for creating such a memorable adventure. Five stars all the way!

5.00It was the best decision to choose GuruWalk for this excursion! Our guide was Junior, a very dedicated young man who responded perfectly to all our wishes. He took into account that we are slow walkers. If we come to Zimbabwe again, we are guaranteed to book our excursions again with Junior 😀
