The West MacDonnell Ranges half-day tour is an excellent opportunity to explore the panoramic landscapes of the West MacDonnell Ranges. Anzac Hill
Our first visit of the day is at Anzac Hill, where you will be able to take in panoramic views over the town of Alice Springs and the surrounding MacDonnell ranges. You may be able to capture one photo to cover the entire town. Anzac Hill is a memorial dedicated to those who served in Australia’s defence forces during all international wars.
John Flynn's Grave Historical Reserve
Your next stopping will be at Flynn’s Grave Memorial, the resting place of Reverend Flynn, the founder of Royal Flying Doctor Service. We make short stopping to relax and enjoy the changing colours of the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges and get some photos.

5.00My husband and friend enjoyed this specially organised tour very much. It was so very good of owner/ operator Mahesh to organise it while he was overseas on business. We wouldn’t have been able to go on this tour if not for his kindness and dedication to his business and customers. I had book his tour online through “VIATOR “ and unknowingly booked it for November this year instead of October 14. Viator was not helpful at all and just told us to contact Alice Holiday Tours directly which I did not knowing they were away. I left a message for Mahesh and resigned to the fact we would be leaving Alice in 2 days and miss out on the tour. My only hope was getting some sort of refund later. To my surprise Mahesh did call back and he asked me if I was still interested in going on the tour and of course we wanted to and was so happy when he said he would especially arrange a private tour for us. All this was done while he was overseas. Within minutes everything was organised and he put us in touch with the driver who was taking us. We were all elated! We were picked up the next morning and had an excellent trip with a very knowledgeable driver/guide. Thank you JB for the great morning and thanks especially to Mahesh for making it all possible. For anyone heading to Alice Springs, I totally recommend you use Alice Holiday Tours for your Airport Transfers and Tours. Book directly on their website!

5.00Mahesh aka Mr Mashmellow was such a delight. My mum and I had the best time on this tour, we were pleasantly surprised. Mahesh was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. He kept things engaging, yet informative and treated us to a beautiful afternoon tea near Simpson Gap. I would recommend him to everyone!

5.00This is the only company to ring for tours around Alice. Hanesh’s scheduled tours were booked out but he scheduled a half day Macdonnell Ranges tour for me and two other travellers at the last minute. The tour was wonderful and Hanesh added bespoke visits to sites around town before we headed west. He was personable, very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing experience.

5.00Mahesh was a brilliant tour guide on this trip. He is equal parts knowledgeable and funny. We had an awesome and entertaining day and the scenery was breathtaking taking. He really looked after my gluten free diet too in catering snacks which meant a lot to me.
