we are whale watching club ( we are not work with other companies )
we do our whale watching tour since 2013 . our main boat is "" Queen Whale "" It is a 60ft. length and 20ft width luxury catamaran boat with speed 13kt per hour. ( powering with Yamaha 385hp two engine units ) this boat can facilitate 150 passengers but considering your comfort and tour quality we arrange the tour only for 45 people.
** Our boat captain Manoj has more than 25 years’ of experience in sailing in the southern sea area in Sri Lanka . he is working as the boat captain for 13 years in whale watching boats.

Whale Sighting: 50%
Dolphins Sighting: 90%
Under these situation we can only do nice boat safari for you. During the tour if you are lucky you can see whales. We try our best to find them.

Honestly I want to inform you about the whale sighting situation in the Mirissa area. ** Whale sighting : 50% ** Dolphins sighting : 90% ** under these situation we can only do nice boat safari for you. During the tour if you are lucky you can see whales. We try our best to find them. *** We stop our boat mid of tour 30 minutes for sea bath (you have to bring necessary clothes for that) *** under these conditions If you would like to do the tour with us you can book now.. because time is yours and money is yours my dear.❤️ .. if find a whale, many boats chasing for one whale. But, we are following only their natural behavior and we are not disturbing the animals☺️ .. we want to see them to our passengers. We are not doing whale chasing and hunting ..But some people misunderstand about our job. some blame us that we are disturbing the whales. I'm one of nature lover and I love my job very much and I want to do it without any stress. 4.00Company was very professional and looked after guests with good knowledge about the whales and very good food and snacks. Highly recommend. They stayed out later to ensure we saw a fin whale! Highly recommend!

5.00We took the tour on Saturday 10th Jan, to be honest I had low expectations of seeing anything other than dolphins. We saw huge pods of Spinner Dolphins, then a second larger migrating type, then bottle nose! They played and jumped with the boat for ages, it was a delight to watch. Quite unexpectedly we then saw a pod of Orca Whales!! It was wonderful, then to top it all off we saw the Fin Whale. A great trip, the staff are warm and friendly, the food and drink was great too.

5.00It was an excellent experience. The boat was very clean and everything was perfectly on time. The crew was extremely helpful and informative. We were lucky to spot Orcas, a Fin whale, and Dolphins. Truly a memorable trip!

5.00It was an amazing experience. We spotted 2 fin whales and multiple dolphins. The boat is sturdy. Breakfast served was super. We are vegetarian family, they made arrangements accordingly. They only take limited guests onboard. Highly recommended.

5.00Despite a shambolic initial reception (bear in mind they encourage early arrival, there is no queue system) once on board the staff are super friendly , efficient and keen to get you to see whales , unfortunately we didn’t see any whales but felt they tried their very best. We saw dolphins and turtles . Plus a sea swim, made for a great day out. We would highly recommend using this company - first out of the harbour and last in, cannot ask for more

5.00The staff were very informative about the different types of ocean life we saw and were extremely attentive serving plenty of food and drink. Unfortunately didn’t see any whales but saw lots of dolphins and turtles and was still a great trip. Appreciated that this company cares about the ocean and sustainability. Would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Great from start to finish. Excellent communication after booking. Lovely boat and crew. The captain was genuinely excited at the sightings of the whale we saw which is amazing given he does this every day. The boat was the best boat in the harbour and this company does not overload passengers like the others. The food onboard was lovely and the crew give you information about the things you see. Highly highly recommended. Brilliant value for money too

5.00Trip set off shortly after 6am and got back at midday. We saw lots of dolphins, fin whales, and even some turtles. Breakfast and snacks were provided and the boat was comfortable. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of the wildlife. Would recommend

5.00We had an amazing and enjoyable experience. We went whale watching in December, and although we did not see any whales, the crew and pilots were very diligent in their efforts to locate them for us. We were, however, able to observe various types of dolphins, manta rays, and flying fish. The crew also kindly provided us with snacks and food because we returned later than expected. They were exceptionally pleasant and ensured all customers were comfortable. We would certainly recommend their services.
