I very much enjoyed the tour to the white villages and Ronda. It was definitely worth the price. We were a small group of six people, and Pedro bounced back and forth between English and French all day to educate all of us about the places we visited. He did a great job. We enjoyed both Zahara de la Sierra (so pretty) and the lunch at Grazalema (delicious), but our favorite part was visiting Ronda (truly amazing gorge). I would like to spend more time there in the future. The only downsides were the visit to the olive oil factory (a little basic) and the drive back to Seville in the evening (quite long after a long day).

Benoit was very knowledgable and the whole trip was brilliant from start to finish. The driver was amazing too!! Windy roads but he managed them very well. Loved all the stops. Really enjoyed the first stop - village is gorgeous! Ronda is something special.

We have three issues with Naturanda: that they dropped a key part of a tour without notice or explanation; that the group size for standard day-trips can be hugely excessive in relation to the price paid; and their unresponsiveness in dealing with customers’ well-founded complaints. The olive mill visit and oil tasting that was given great emphasis in the description of the Ronda and White Villages tour was dropped from ours without warning or even acknowledgement. It had actually been a key reason for our choosing this tour over a Ronda day-trip offered by another operator which also incorporated Setenil de las Bodegas – a place we’d have loved to see. But our boutique hotel’s recommendation of Naturanda for “small” group tours, and the promise of that mill visit, were what swayed us. When we complained at the office at the end of the day, we were first met with a lack of recognition of the significant place the mill visit is given in the description. Then one of the employees said she’d speak to her boss about it and they might hopefully offer a partial refund. We were already booked on another tour for the following day, to Jerez and Cádiz, and actually wanted to cancel that, because we didn’t trust the company any more, but you can only cancel up to 24 hours ahead, and they wouldn’t budge on that rule. When we returned for that tour the next morning, we found it impossible to make eye contact with said employee. We tried to convince ourselves she was just busy, but given that many months later we still hadn’t received any response to our complaint (despite having emailed them in the meantime), we’ve concluded that she was deliberately blanking us. The only response I got was when I posted a first version of this review many months later, and Naturanda responded by saying they had indeed issued a partial refund. It was then that we realised we’d failed to spot this on our credit card statement at the time. However, it amounted to only €5 per person. Considering that the tour had cost us more than €70 each – while the alternative option we wished we’d taken would have been under €60 – and considering that the Naturanda tour the following day which we then wanted to cancel had cost us around €90 each, we do not find it at all adequate. In any case, considering the prices, we didn’t expect to be part of full busloads of people. This makes it a totally different experience than the small groups we’ve enjoyed on similarly priced tours elsewhere, where there is more of a sense of a shared experience with the guide and other participants. It was unpleasant to feel that we were annoying locals by holding up traffic in the walking part of the Ronda tour. On the positive side, the guides on both tours were abounding in genuine cultural/historical information which they each shared in their own style – one humorous, the other more earnest. The drivers did a very good job, too. I’m not giving their names because I don’t want to associate them with a low-starred review. The problem is Naturanda, not them. The fact that there is no effort to coerce people on the tours to buy things is also a plus. And the places we saw were magnificent. But all this was overshadowed for us by Naturanda’s essentially dismissive attitude to our fair complaint, and by the overpricing in relation to group size. Normally I come on TripAdvisor to share my enthusiasm, rather than to complain – but in the case of Naturanda, I felt I had to make an exception. We wouldn’t book with them again.

We had a great time. The tour guide was attentive and knowledgeable; shared history and gave tips to get the best of the itinerary. The bus ride was pretty comfortable. The schedule was appropriate. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful trip to Ronda and White villages with our lovely guide Jose Luis and bus driver Raul. We started off early and headed directly to Ronda where Jose walked us though the main sites and shared suggestions what else we should do and where to eat. On our way back we visited the white villages of Grazalema and Zahara. Jose shared the historical, geographic and cultural details of Andalusia in a very easy and interesting way making the trip so much enjoyable. We had booked the trip on Christmas day so that affected some of the sites & shops being closed but we had a wonderful trip. Would like to thank Jose and Raul for the lovely commentary and smooth rides!!

Excellent choice! We did the Ronda and White Villages tour on January 1st, when much of Spain was closed, and yet we barely noticed thanks to how incredibly well organized everything was. The team arranged for one of the few open restaurants to be ready for our entire group, making the day deliciously seamless. Our guide, Ismael, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region and brought Andalucía to life. It was a beautiful experience from start to finish. Thank you to Ismael and the team for starting my year in such a wonderful way. Hemingway was right- everything about the place is beautiful

Friendly people, a comfortable bus, and the most accomplished driver I have ever experienced. If you’ve watched Top Gear, I swear it was the Stig. The views from the bus and the towns are breathtaking in the mountains. We passed sheep and goat farms, olive tree groves and cork tree forests. Our guides, Rebecca y Emilio, were equally entertaining and knowledgeable. Be prepared for walking on inclines and steep ancient stairs for the best views. While there were some ambitious hikers in our group, we did not join them. The beautiful park in Ronda has majestic views when you look DOWN into the chasm, if you dare. Our tour was on a Sunday when almost all restaurants and shops are closed. You may want to consider that in your plans.

Great experience! Was able to see a lot in one day. The bridge in Ronda was beautiful. It seemed like the trip was a lot to handle, but they did so very well. It was Very convenient to see all of these places in one trip organized by someone else, it would have taken days by myself.
