They do not serve any food at the Whitney plantation and it was a very long day, so it would’ve been nice to know that. People should bring food with them. We did not and we were hungry.

Dennis was the best guide ever! Very informative and entertaining. He made an already amazing experience even greater. I truly appreciated everything about this trip (Including the time allowed for NOLA lunch in the middle of the combo tour). I 10/10 recommend and look forward to coming again sharing this tour with family members.

John on the 9am Whitney plantation tour has to be held accountable for the extremely insensitive remarks and jokes that he finds ok to make about lynching as a black male I'm highly upset with the tour not pleased.

Well done guided tour focusing on the enslaved rather than the masters of the plantation. Memorials dedicated to the enslaved children and leaders of a rebellion are good reasons to pause and reflect. Lots of historical information passed over in our elementary school curriculum, so prepare to be caught off guard by learning history through a different perspective.

The tour of Whitney plantation was profound. We appreciated the focus on the voices of the enslaved people. The personal narratives and testimonials were deeply impactful as were the historical accounts of events you do not always learn about in school. Our driver Robert, with Gray Line tours, was wonderful. If you can request him, do! He provided a great deal of history on the region and the city more specifically which we found very helpful. He was a highlight on our trip to NOLA.

The trip was well organized. Even though they were shorthanded on tour guides. The bus driver Dwayne did a great job on making sure we saw important sights on the tour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The shuttle was on time, clean, and relaxing. The driver was fantastic! She made the ride enjoyable by sharing fun and interesting facts about New Orleans and Louisiana along the way. We even passed by several other plantations before arriving at Whitney, with opportunities to take photos from the window. The Whitney Plantation tour itself was incredibly educational and deeply moving. From start to finish, it was both eye opening and emotional. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff were informative, kind, and helpful. I’m truly grateful for this experience, one I’ll never forget.
