This half day tour travels to the historic town of Windsor and includes entrance to Windsor Castle, the Official Residence of His Majesty King Charles III, plenty of free time to explore and luxury coach travel.

Please check the Windsor Castle website for any specific aspects of the castle you wish to visit as it may be closed on the day you wish to travel but the castle itself will be open to visitors (i.e State Apartments etc).

Please note: the itinerary is intended as a guide and some details may be subject to change

Please look out for the Anderson Travel bus on arrival at the meeting point

Please note that the guide cannot come into the castle with you.

Windsor Castle

09:30 - Pick-up from Victoria & 09:50am pick-up from Earls Court. 09:50 - Travel to Windsor. 10:50 - Arrive in Windsor. Entrance into Windsor Castle is included with free time to explore the grounds at your own pace. 13:30 - Depart Windsor. *Your driver will advise you on meeting times for returning to London* 14:30 Tour will arrive back in Earls Court, London, at approximately this time. There may be an additional drop-off at Victoria if time allows. We do not recommend booking anything in London until after 16:00 just in case.

Very Clean and Efficient transportation, our guide Richard gave great commentary. Richard also helped us understand transportation back to our hotel via the underground.

Excellent self-guided castle tour and charming guide on the bus. The team is very respectful of everyone’s time, which we appreciated on the way out when one couple missed boarding. Sadly, we were that couple at departure- we got turned around in Windsor and didn’t get to the bus park until 15 minutes past the hour and the bus had rolled out. The tour company attempted to reach me but we didn’t catch the call in time, totally not their fault but ours. Sincere apologies to our wonderful guide and driver - we didn’t intend to take the train back, but staying later was fine with us - we just felt so badly that we couldn’t get back to you on time!

Our driver was very professional and helpful. I was traveling with a child and stroller and my driver was helpful in storing the stroller and getting on and off the bus.

Great introduction to the castle and grounds. Time enough to see the grounds, tour the rooms inside the castle, visit St. George’s Chapel and the Changing of the Guards. Ales was a great guide.

Anderson Tours. Tour guide Ales was on time (15 min prior to pickup). Personable while waiting on the bus, which was on time as well. Ales provided great information before we arrived Windsor Castle. He got us to the queue as quickly as possible. Pick up for return was right on time too.

Ales our guide gave us a brief history of what historic things we would be seeing and the history of the castle. He was very knowledgeable of the area which helped me understand what I was looking at.
