As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice (The whole castle is closed on December 25-26).

5.00Our guide Sandra was amazing!! Very knowledgable, funny (genuinely funny - not trying to like many guides), shared her personal experiences from living in London. Gave us enough free time, made sure everyone knew when to come back to bus. She really was excellent - the best guide I’ve ever had on a tour!! The tour itself was quite good - three locations and enough time at each location.
Rowan deserves an academy award and it’s all in a day’s work!

5.00Rowan and Jeton really made it special! Jeton was kind, respectful, and an excellent driver. Rowan is, without a doubt, the absolute best tour guide I’ve ever heard. She was extremely knowledgable, funny in many ways, kept our attention the entire day and was amazing on trivial and historical tidbits. Rowan’s delivery and facial expression coupled with her vocal inflections was superb beyond superb!! Carrie French Thompson from GA - USA. (The three older ladies). Rowan also showed compassion for my dear cousin who had knee surgery and was struggling to keep up.

3.00This was a very long tour that I feel could’ve been a bit better. It’s a lot of travel time for the 3 sites so I would recommend only choosing 2 options. The Que time to get into Windsor castle was so long that it only gave us roughly an hour to explore before we had to rush back to the bus. Also, I thought the tour guide would accompany us during the tour but that wasn’t the case. Stonehenge was great and tour of Oxford was nice to see. If I had to do it again I’d just do Windsor Castle & Stonehenge. The tour guide was nice and informative.
