Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

We enjoyed Phil’s dialogue as we traveled, pointing out landmarks along the way with a wealth of historical knowledge. His light-hearted humour amongst the lessons made the trip extra enjoyable. Windsor castle was amazing, we would have preferred slightly more time there than at Stonehenge or Bath. Overall a fantastic experience

It was very fun! The tour guide and driver were very kind and our family had a great time. We had to cut our sightseeing a little short so we weren’t left behind, but it’s very worth it.

It was great! The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The driver was very kind and gentle. Make sure you don’t bring hot food! It would go straight to the garbage. Time yourself because it will leave on time. This is a tour to quickly get a taste of such wonderful places

Interesting and entertaining tour. All thanks to Robert, the guide, told us amazing facts of all the places. I love tours like this one, where you can see the guide’s excitement and knowledge. Rusell, the driver, drove so well I was asleep immediately after seating in the coach.

We loved the tour. Gave us ample time to experience the 3 places that we visited. Andy Jackson was our tour guide and he made the tour quite enjoyable. He shared some of his stories from his time serving the Royal family and had a solid grasp of the history. Hearing that from him ahead of visiting those places was quite helpful. Dan, our driver, was generous with his time so 5 stars to him as well

I've seen Harry Potter before, so I joined without any prior knowledge. Kevin, a guide who is fluent in Japanese, explained the tour with history, so it was very easy to understand. The time schedule for the day consisted of arrivals at Windsor Castle at 9:00am, entrance to Windsor Castle at 10:00pm, departures from Windsor Castle at 11:35pm, departures from Stonehenge at 13:00pm, departures from Stonehenge at 14:25pm, departures from Oxford at 15:50pm, departures from Oxford at 17:20pm and departures from London at 19:20pm. I recommend buying food in advance as there is no time to eat in the city. Each one doesn't have time to listen to the audio guide thoroughly, but it's recommended for those who want a quick taste of the atmosphere.
