Discover Nara's must-see landmarks on the deluxe coach tour and try to make Matcha tea at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of matcha.

We will drive pass Fushimi Castle and Heijokyo Palace on the way to Nara. We will visit Todaiji Temple, a house of the Great Buddha of Nara and it is one of the world’s largest wooden buildings. Meet about 1,400 deer at Nara Park, you can even feed them rice crackers. Then we visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine where 3000 magical stone lanterns enlighten you. After lunch, we go to Uji area in Kyoto and try making Uji matcha tea! Spot the Byodo-in Phoenix Hall depicted on the back of the 10-yen coin at Uji.

    It was an amazing experience. Our guide Den was very attentive and explained interesting facts about the places we visited. We enjoyed feeding the deers. Todai-ji temple was also impressive! We highly recommend this tour! Franco & Luiza

    The trip to Nara and Uji was magical! Nagomi was such a nice and competent tour guide. She had great energy and prepared a fun introduction to the tour and some questions. We had a blast, and she even taught us some origami. The deer in Nara Park were really cool and made the experience extra special, and everything during the tour was very easy and well organized.

    Nagomi was a wonderful guide - friendly and energetic, and she made everyone in the group feel special! Nara was perfect with the deer, and the matcha experience was amazing; so incredible to see a 17th-generation business!

    It was a really fun day trip and our tour guide was very nice and so knowledgeable of every location we went to! We had plenty of time to walk around and see the sights and activities, eat good food and our guide took photos for us! we had a small group in our tour, I think that improved our experience with our tour guide compared to a large group. Highly recommend!

    We had a great tour with our guide Ciel! She was very friendly and approachable. We had a smaller tour group, she was able to get to know everyone and made personal connections and through chatting with us giving us other recommendations of things we could do on other days. She has a lot of knowledge on the history in Kyoto and Japan in general. She explained it in ways that was easy to understand in such a short time. Highly recommend Ciel to anyone looking for a guide.
