Taking in the beautiful Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Llangollen, the Pontcysyllen adequate, and the City of Wrexham, this tour offers you the chance to experience both the beauty of North Wales and the fun that is Football.
During the tour, you will have the chance to meet a passionate local guide who has followed Wrexham since they were a child, meet local people who have been used in the filming of Welcome To Wrexham and hear some behind-the-scenes stories that only a local would know. You might even meet a celebrity or two along the way! In addition to this, you will be able to explore not only a site of international importance but also beautiful boutique shops, characterful cafes, and a couple of historic pubs.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Standing on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct it's easy to feel like your stood on top of the world. This stunning 'stream in the sky' offers breat-taking views over the River Dee, and the Vale of Llangollen. Deep with reds, oranges, and yellows in Autumn, vibrant with greens, in the spring, and just as spectacular during the summer and winter, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the perfect place for a picture. Walking across the Aqueduct its easy to see why local people love this place. Created a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, the aqueduct and its surrounding areas are considered to be of international importance. Given that you are standing on the longest Aqueduct in Britain, and the Longest Aqueduct in the world, its easy to understand why this beautiful bridge is projected for future generations. During your stop here you will have the chance to learn about the Bridge's construction, its role in the canal systems, and take some time strolling along the walk ways.
Llangollen
Llangollen is possibly the prettiest town in this part of Wales - and that's saying something, given that the town is in an area of outstanding natural beauty! Known for its Victorian promenade, magnificent views of the River Dee and surrounding hillside, as well as its quaint independent shops, you are guaranteed to find something here to take home and cherish. As you stroll through the town, your guide will point out the local traders, craftspeople, and makers so that you have the chance to take a unique piece home with you. Don't have room in your luggage? Then why not grab a drink in one of the Picturesque pubs and watch the world go by? Or alternatively, why not grab a hot drink and a cake in one of the enchanting eateries that are sprinkled over Llangollen? After stopping in Llangollen, your driver will take you through the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty back to Wrexham, where your Welcome to Wrexham portion of the tour will start.

5.00A friend arranged a private tour with Bryan for my husband, me, and my friend’s family of 4. All of us had been to Wrexham before and had seen many of the famous sites (those seen on the show, “Welcome to Wrexham”, and through recommendations). Bryan asked about what we had seen, what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go. He planned a trip around us, taking us to places we had not been, telling us history and stories. He took us to The Racecourse to meet with players, took us to team shop (both of them as one is behind the stadium where you meet the players). Then we went to Llangollen to see the aqueduct which is beautiful and thrilling and terrifying all at the same time. I only made it about halfway across before turning back. We drove up into the hills around Llangollen and it was stunningly beautiful on a clear, bright day. We ended our tour at The Turf where Bryan and our friends played pool and we visited with folks while we had a pint or two. It was a truly lovely day and Bryan remarked that he liked the challenge of crafting a tour for a group of people already familiar with the area. I highly recommend booking with Bryan.
Better than any wrexham experience I could have hoped for!

5.00One of the best tours we have taken anywhere. Bryan did a fabulous job showing us N Wales and Wrexham. This private tour will give you a great appreciation of the country and its people. Wrexham has gained a lot of notoriety and this tour showed us its people and football team up close. Wish we could give it 6 stars!

5.00Our guide and driver, Bryan, was a blast! Not only did he share the history of Wrexham as we walked and drove around, he was incredibly accommodating in hitting sights and points of interest. We were especially knocked out by our visits to The Turf and Wrexham Racecourse and getting special access to some areas. A visit to a castle and other points of interest in Northern Wales was icing on the cake. We can’t recommend Bryan and the company enough! Cheers!

5.00Bryan was a fantastic tour guide. We were able to meet Wayne from the show and he even spent time with our kids. Also, we were able to meet a couple of the players and take photos with them. We capped off the tour with a visit to the aqua duct and surrounding countryside. Highly recommend Bryan.

5.00Andy was a great guide, he made sure my entire family was having a good time. My family said this was one of the best tours we did while in the UK. We were excited to see sites from the TV show and very surprised at the beauty of the wales countryside.

5.00Bryan Still picked us ( a group of six ladies) up at Heathrow and spent the next two days showcasing Wrexham and Northern Wales. As Bryan talked about the places he knows and loves, he became our friend. He was a very safe driver and never in a hurry. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and familiar with many unusual spots which he delighted in showing to us. I highly recommend!

5.00Looking for a tour but don’t want to be stuck with a stranger for hours? Bryan Still is not your typical tour guide. He becomes part of the family right from the start. He is the ultimate tour guide. Bryan goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing time starting from the begining by reaching out before the trip through the what’s app. He texts and video calls you to chat to confirm details and talk about the trip as well as answer any questions you may have. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a way of making you feel at ease from the moment you meet him in person. He’s funny and knows all the spots to go to as well as the ins and outs of everything Wrexham. My family enjoyed our first time over there from New York, USA and Bryan was a big part of making this trip memorable. He took us to local spots for some beautiful landscapes and traditional food. Told us stories and made sure you saw or did what you anticpated to do on your trip. He encouraged feedback and was easy to talk to. He made sure we were taken care of at every place we went to. We look forward to coming back soon and would definitely make a point to meet up with Bryan again. We highly recommend him for anyone who is looking to see wales or everything Wrexham!

5.00This was a must for anyone that loves unique experiences.Bryan, our guide, made it all easy. From initial contact to helping me figure out how to connect with the group when my plane was delayed. Wrexham the city was fascinating, the football field The Turf was amazing as we're the people we met there Bryan showed us so much and was so knowledgeable. We had him fir 3 days, open to suggestions and found some new spots to visit. Great guide, great trip and great memories
