  This experience was ok but the information doesn’t tell you that you spend the majority of your time on the island and not at Hiroshima peace park and museum. It was a long day or bullet train, bus and ferry. Not sure it was worth it.

  One cohesive experience with smooth hand-offs despite the number of transfers! From the moment of first meeting to the end of the tour, our tour guides created a smooth flow with a well curated and paced experience. Mito, our guide for the day, is an extraordinary tour guide / the type of guide from my childhood who knows so much about the place and who never leaves a dull moment - filling travel time with stories, interesting tidbits and being able to take in questions well. This experience left me feeling like a winner - maximized time, memorable moments… and all without getting too exhausted. Definite must try!

  We are a family of 4 with children ages 19 and 12 years old. We booked through our travel agent and paid around AUD800. This includes coaster ride, admission fees and round trip boat tickets. I bet it would be much cheaper if booked directly with the operator or via Klook. However, we still consider this tour a good value for money. We were in our last leg of our 21-day tour around Japan when we did this tour. Our children had enough of crowded/ rushed tours, castles and shrines. They were initially adamant on going. By the end, they were glad they did. They said that Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour is something different - educational and eye-opener for them. It wasn’t rushed compared to other tours we had. The tour guide, Mayu, is part of the reason as well why we love the tour. Mayu is so knowledgeable and she conveys her knowledge in a fun and not boring way. She even go above and beyond to stay in the trains station after the tour to see to it that everyone can get to respective shinkansen/ train back to hotels. A plus, it was not a big group tour. We were only 12 pax. There was so much room in the coaster. The meeting place was easy to find too. As soon as you walked through North Exit from shinkansen just 3 minutes walk. Highly recommend this tour.

  Our guide Mayu was absolutely brilliant. She was very informative and friendly and was kind enough to share her personal/family stories of living in Hiroshima. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum perfectly represent the impact of the a-bomb, the respective call for peace and the lasting impact on the community

  Miyu was a wonderful guide. As a Hiroshima local, she provided a special perspective we could not have had on our own. Miyajima is gorgeous. We could have spent more time there. But Miyu’s guidance through peace park and the museum was perfect. The museum is so well done - a must for every human being.
