PLEASE READ: Very rustic, very amazing! I can't think of a better use of 3 days 2 nights! From pickup at the hotel, to drop off at the boat, to aceesing the accommodation and activities and back again - everything wss planned out. You must bring your own personal items - soap, hair products, towel, wash rag, flip flops (yes, bring these) and if you are easily overheated, I would suggest a battery powered fan, as you only have electricity from 6pm to 10pm each day. The staff are regularly concerned about the welfare of the guests, so please be sure to reach out to them if you have a need. We saw lots of critters - Orangutans, Proboscis Monkeys, etc - as well as a ton of birds and a couple crocodiles. You MUST do the night hikes and night boating excursion - those are awesome! This is NOT a 5 star resort - in fact, I'd say it's between a half and 1 star place. Also, because guest safety is number one for them, they may reschedule or cancel trips due to storms and flooding. Should you do this? If you are adventurous and don't need a butler to fluff your pillows, I'd say Go For It!

This is a once in a life time experience. We were hesitant at first after seeing the simple facilities and bucket showers, however, it was truly incredible. The beds ended up having bed linen and a thin blanket and the showers were more refreshing than a standard shower. Jay and the crew were very hospitable and knowledgeable - we learnt so much from them about the local history, traditions and fauna. We spotted lots of animals, such as crocodiles, proboscis monkeys and many more. We were happy to know also that the crew supports the rainforest and its improvement; for each visitor a tree is planted. It would be beneficial to bring your own fan and flashlight, as well as light, long-sleeved attire. Overall we would highly recommended joining Jay and the crew for a down to earth experience.

Amazing experience. We saw 4 orangutans, we had wild civets and monitor lizards walking through the camp, saw a gibbon and proboscis monkeys in the trees right next to camp. The day cruises were great we saw lots of monkeys, birds and crocodiles. The night walks we saw snakes sleeping birds and a flying lemur. The staff were lovely, Jay our guide was so kind and amazing at spotting animals. The setting is beautiful and there was no one else there. Would definitely come again.

You have the feeling that you are really in the jungle. away from the crowds and luxury. there are only a few places and no other tour operators so it is exclusive and no crowds. you are also in a side branch of the river extra away from the crowd. we had chosen 4 days with 3 nights to really switch off from a few weeks of traveling and to have a better chance of seeing the orangutan. we were lucky to spot one next to the camp on day 2! Guide Jai was alert and heard it coming and called us. In addition, we saw many crocodiles on both the large river and the side branch where we stayed. proboscis monkeys, many bird species such as hornbills, king fishers and sea eagles and owl. With the night walk saw a mini python. also a jungle chicken. with four days we did an evening cruise on the river, night walk, morning cruises and a long tour on the river both on both waters. the last day we were with two so a private environment without others. really away from civilization what we wanted. we went to caves for bats and also came across an orangutan! Jai gave us a great time and knows a lot and really searches with you for animals and knows how to find and name them. You notice that this is his passion and ambition. Jai is a topper and asset and determines how you can experience a tour. Do not look for luxury but enjoy peace and animals and a unique experience! minimum 2 nights recommended with max 3 nights. No internet and 3 meals a day. Current between 5 and 10. spotting orangutan you have to be lucky and we were! month September with low river water. Thank you Jai and the crew for an unforgettable time! I wish you all the best. given your drive and personality I have every confidence in that! Kr Claudia&Dustin

Loved all of it! It's a simple, honest, and authentic experience, and the staff and guides were great! They were very acommodating and allowed us to postpone our tour by 2 days with short notice due to some health problems beforehand. The manager Afiq even offered his room to us as there weren't any other free rooms left.
