  What an amazing morning. The canyon is just stunning: the pictographs, petroglyphs and ruins were fabulous, but the highlight of the entire morning was listening to our guide recount her childhood memories of growing up in and around the canyon. She knew this place inside and out! We loved her stories passed down through multiple generations of family/ clan living in canyon. Irene, thank you for a truly memorable experience. I wish I could relive it all over again. Amazing morning with an incredible guide!

  Our guide, Richard, was very knowledgeable about the canyon and Navajo culture and history. He showed us spots we never could have found by ourselves, even if allowed to go without him. It was a great day.

  We had a full day walking and driving through the Canyons with Richard, our guide- We felt honored to be with him and learned so much of past and present Navajo culture. Our vehicle was very comfortable which was important to us! We can not recommend this company enough!

  This tour was everything we hoped it would be, and more. We felt lucky to have gotten Reggie, our guide, who was easy to be with; extremely well-informed about Navajo history, practices, beliefs, and cosmology and the canyon's flora; took the trouble to point out and explain petroglyphs because he knew we were interested in them; and even played a Native flute for us. I'd happily recommend Canyon de Chelly Tours to anyone interested in doing more than just looking down into the canyon from the overlooks on the rim drive.

  Great tour through the canyon with our guide,Perry! Beautiful scenery, very informative descriptions of the history and the archeological sites in the area. Enjoyed being in an enclosed jeep on the very sandy, bumpy road. Highly recommend this company.

  Jason was our guide. He spent part of his childhood in the canyon and had all sorts of stories about the area and growing up there. What a great story teller! We could tell he loves this area! We had no idea the area was so large and how many ancient sites there were!

  The guide was fantastic. She is Dine and mixed her own story with the story of the canyon and of the Navajo and Hopi people. We had a window into something very special. Very highly recommended!
