• Pergamon -- an unexpected delight

  I really enjoyed visiting Pergamon. Asklepion was interesting -- and different -- as an ancient healing center, and the Acropolis was powerful and beautiful. The setting overlooking the valley was breathtaking. Cemal was an excellent guide. He shared interesting information about Turkey general and the sites both on the bus and as we were walking around. He was flexible and informed. He also arranged a wonderful Turkish lunch for us, complete with heartfelt singing by the owner.

  Wonderful tour. My guide Ezgi was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. The ruins were well cared, place is nice to walk around

  We are from Canada. We had joined two days tours visiting Pergamon historical site. We had a hard time finding a travel agency with a good price in Izmir. We even went to Konak (Central) in Izmir where most of the travel agencies are, not happy with the prices. So I took a chance from an agency online, Pergamon Tours. They were very professional, 100% responsive, We have 5 people, we’ve got a Mercedes van and with an English speaking guide. Prices were good, pick up and drop off wherever you want. I’m glad I made this choice.

  The Pergamon tour was enjoyable and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of this important and ancient city. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing and the theater (steepest sloped theater in the ancient world) was pretty impressive. The visit to the Asklepion was also very interesting as we learned how the Romans treated patients as part of a holistic approach to healing. I especially liked how this tour did not stop for any shopping excursions and was focused only on the historical sites. The included lunch buffet in the town was also delicious! I highly recommend taking a visit to Pergamon with this tour company if you are in the area.

  Very happy to go with Bergin Tours to Pergammon. The tour was one of the best organized tours I have ever taken. My guide, Gul (Rose), was one of the best tour guides and I would highly recommend taking a tour with her. We were given as much free time at the sites we visited for personal pictures as we wanted. I never felt in a rush. Very knowledgeable guide and great company to do business with. Would give my highest recommendations to both Bergin Tours and Gul!

  Fantastic tour! Highly recommend! Umut was a wonderful guide. Professional and very knowledgeable.You do not want to miss out on this. The view from Pergamon is incredible and the ruins are amazing to see. Also had the best lunch on this tour. A fabulous day!
