認定プエルトリコ人ガイドの案内で、おいしい郷土料理と島を形作った物語が融合した少人数制の体験です。

サンフアン旧市街のカラフルな街並みを探索しながら、プエルトリコ料理の背景にあるタイノ、アフリカ、スペイン語の影響について学びます。

地元所有のスポットに立ち寄り、モフォンゴ、アロス・コン・ハビチュエラス、トストーン、アルカプルリアまたはエンパナディージャ、プエルトリココーヒーなどの定番を島のドリンクとペアリングして味わいます。

ツアーのハイライトは、デスパチートのロケ地として世界的に知られるカラフルな海沿いの街、ラ・ペルラ。ここでは、素晴らしい海の景色を望む地元のレストランで食事をし、マレコンに沿って歩き、この強靭なコミュニティの歴史について学びます。

この体験は、プエルトリコの実際の文化をより深く見つめながら、地元の企業をサポートします。

Plaza de la Catedral

サンフアン旧市街の中心部にある、市内で最も古く、最も歴史ある広場の1つであるカテドラル広場（Plaza de la Catedral）からツアーを開始します。ここでは、自己紹介をしてグループについて知り、体験の芝居を始めます。何世紀も前の建築に囲まれながら、サンフアン旧市街の起源や、この広場が街の歴史の中で果たした役割について学びます。

Luis Peña, founder of Bori Local Tours, was awesome! He provided a well designed tour of the area, to include some not often visited sites. Luis was very knowledgeable and provided a phenomenal experience, to include some very interesting history and great local food. Highly recommend!

This tour was absolutely amazing. I had so much fun! La Perla is beautiful but can be intimidating for someone traveling solo for the first time. Thanks to the tour guide I felt safe and surrounded by an amazing group of people. I learned a lot about the culture and history of Puerto Rico and I fell in love with La Perla!! I can’t wait to visit again.

A truly wonderful experience! Food was great and generous portions. The drinks were tasty and delicious! The tour was informative and ventured off the typical tourist trail. Mariana was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and authentically boricua!

This is my 3rd time in PR, and this is the best tour experience I’ve ever had here. Between Pebbles, Mariana, and the incredible stops, the environment they create is like none other. This tour is going to become a local gem.

I cannot express in words how wonderful this tour was and how amazing Marianna was. Her love for Puerto Rico shone through as she combined a food tour with the history of this beautiful place. Her joy and pride made every single bite of food taste better. The beauty of Old San Juan and the story of La Perla will be something I forever hold in my heart. Also come hungry because the “samples” are a very good size. I left full and happy. What an amazing experience. I cannot recommend enough.
