  This is one of the great day trip private tour with family experiences we ever had! Long journey with great nature sight seeing sights with snow capped mountains and beauty of lake Pukaki and lake Tekapo. Tom offered us an extra stop at Lavender farm which was quite nice. Totally worthwhile taking this tour to explore South Island.

  Tiffany provided us with an amazing experience during our family day trip. It was a beautiful and memorable journey with interesting and scenic photo stops along the way. Nature in New Zealand is truly welcoming and heart-touching. This private tour is a great option to explore the best of the South Island, offering a comfortable and exclusive experience with your family.   No doubt, it was the longest day trip we’ve ever had—but it was completely worth it. We were so lucky with the weather; clear skies and beautiful scenery made our journey truly memorable. Visiting the Mt Cook glaciers, Lake Pukaki, and Lake Tekapo were the major highlights of the trip. Charlie was amazing—he provided excellent service and looked after us throughout the journey. A big thank you to the Kiwi Adventures team!

  We have taken road trip acroaa iconic South Island’s heart. Major highlights were, including the stunning landscapes around Aoraki/Mt Cook, turquoise lakes, and endless alpine views, Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo. Steve ensured we had plenty of time at each stop, never felt rushed, and captured some amazing moments along the way. Steve also took us at the Lavenders farm which was originally not in plans. Highly recommended for anyone travelling between Queenstown and Christchurch by road trip.

  We had a great day with Thomas on our Queenstown to Christchurch day trip, which included many scenic stops along the way. Visiting Mt Cook, the glaciers, and Lake Tekapo made the journey truly memorable. The van was spacious and comfortable, adding to the relaxing experience. Thomas also made an extra stop at a lavender farm, which was a quick but lovely addition to the trip. Overall, a wonderful experience.

  Queenstown to Christchurch was an amazing day trip for us! We visited two of the South Island’s most popular destinations—Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo. Tom looked after us so well, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without any rush. From the scenic road trip to the glaciers and beautiful lakes, everything felt truly heart-touching and magical. A wonderful experience surrounded by nature’s best!

  What an exceptional South Island road trip! This tour offers everything — from stunning lakes to majestic glaciers and breathtaking scenery all in one journey. Steve was incredibly accommodating, an excellent driver, and shared deep knowledge of the region throughout the trip. The many scenic stops kept us refreshed and energised.   Our day trip from Queenstown to Christchurch was absolutely fantastic, with breathtaking stops at Mt Cook, Lake Tekapo, Twizel, and many other scenic viewpoints along the way. It was a long day, but every moment was worth it. Our guide, Stephen, was amazing—very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating. He made the journey smooth, enjoyable, and full of interesting insights. A big thank you to Kiwi Adventures for the excellent organisation and well-planned itinerary. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the best of the South Island in one day
