  There was no commentary on the bus ride but great tour guide for the boat ride and visit with local craftspeople. While lunch was not as per our western tastes, it was a good cultural experience.

  We had a splendid day! Thanks to our guide Meera for her enthusiasm and all the interesting information she gave. Also a big thanks for our driver Firoz who not only drives very safely, but is also very flexible and brought us to the most beautiful places.

  My partner and I think this must be the best backwater tour in Kochi. I had high expectations however these were substantially exceeded. The experience on the traditional boats was so authentic and peaceful. It was a real privilege to visit this idyllic village so close to the Kochi township. Our tenacious guide Shajahan managed to get us to the backwaters that day despite a crash on the one bridge out of Kochi which would have no doubt prevented most people from visiting. We did this private tour off our cruise ship visit and Stanley Wilson was incredible to deal with. The communication was excellent from day 1. Another highlight of the day was the lunch prepared by the beautiful Jasmin. On the day Jasmin checked in with us about our food preferences and she literally prepared a feast! We could see on our arrival that Jasmin conducts cooking classes which comes as no surprise given the quality of our lunch. We took a cruise from Dubai with stops in Mumbai, Kochi, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. We ate at some lovely places including the Taj Palace Hotel. • Incredible authentic tour of the back waters

  My partner and I think this must be the best back water tour in Kochi. I had high expectations however these were substantially exceeded.
