  Armin was a great instructor/pilot. The flight was incredible! We flew through the clouds, saw amazing waterfalls, saw the seven sacred pools, and so much more. The glider was awesome and there is a seat belt. I have been skydiving and this is Not that adventurous or scary. It's similar to being in an airplane, but you can feel the wind around you. A great way to see this part of the island and check off your bucket list. The videos are extra, but so very worth it. The technology is amazing and you need to get the videos! I definitely recommend the drive to Hana for this experience, you won't regret it!!!

  Aloha…. I first learned about power hang gliding 20 years ago when I read about Armin in a book called Maui revealed. I was first interested in how safe it might be, and when I called, I talked to Armin’s wife, who says that her husband spends more time in the air than he does on land, which made quite the impression. As far as safety, it’s a hang glider with an engine so if you have an issue with either one of those you can glide back to earth or in the case of a broken wing (not likely) there’s a parachute…so I took my first flight in 2006 where Armin took me up 5,000 feet over the clouds and turned off the engine and we glided back to earth like a bird. You could reach out and touch the clouds…all with no noise. Those memories have stuck with me for decades, and I have since done Power high gliding in Kauai down the Nepali coastline. So last month we’re back in Maui and I always like to start my vacation in Hana so I called Armin and we made a date. It’s something hard to explain, but let me tell you….you will never forget the experience!!!   We did a Hang Gliding Flight tour in April 2026. Conclusion, it was an awesome experience. I always interested in birds and wanted to see how birds see things while they fly. This tour made my wish come true. I see so many beautiful view of Hana, mountains, water falls, ocean, whale, Heiau, Wainapanapa from the sky. Most places are not accessible by a car or foot. It was so beautiful 😍 Armin is very nice and professional. He explained and show things to my son who are very interested in airplanes. I highly recommended this tour. We are looking forward to do it again next year when we go back to Hana, Maui!

  What a wonderful experience!!! So fun. An engine on a hang glider is the perfect way to see everything- coastline, so many waterfalls, up above the clouds too! Felt like I was flying. Armin is gregarious, adventurous, knowledgeable and a great guy to fly with! Learned about flying and gliding, and got to try it as well.

  What can I say. Armin is amazing. We are a family of aviation enthusiasts and pilots. We found Armin in 2006, I've flown with him at least 3 times, my dad has as well 2 or 3 times, my wife has, today was time for my two kids. This is is a one of a kind experience not to be missed. It's an amazing "high" beyond belief to be above such a beautiful place. The experience itself is exhilarating, but Armin's conscientious approach to the whole process is one that is sure to keep you at peace and comfortable as you should be given his incredible amount of experience! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed Armin and his enthusiasm for flight. We fully trust Armin and his conscientious approach to aviation safely!!   This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. What a view of Hana and all the waterfalls and mountains from the top. You are up there taking it all in. Very magical.

  Absolutely incredible experience with Hang Gliding Maui! Not only was it breathtaking to soar over such stunning scenery, but I also got the chance to actually learn how to fly. The instruction was clear, professional, and made me feel completely safe the entire time. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and hands-on learning.
