• Great Experience- Beware of Parking

  The crew and overall experience were excellent! We saw turtles, sharks, and plenty of other marine life. Everything you’d hope to see on a trip like this. The lunch spread was fantastic, with fish and pork tacos, hot dogs, and plenty of options for everyone. They do charge $10 for a wet suit rental that you probably don't need if you are a decent swimmer. Unfortunately, our day ended on a disappointing note. When we returned to the dock, our rental car had been towed. I had THOUHT had paid for parking in full, but the parking app was confusing, it said additional hours were included, but apparently it was an hour short on my time. The result was an unexpected tow, followed by an hour-and-a-half ordeal, a $35 Uber ride, and $180 to retrieve the car. Hey, at least I got to see a part of Maui I never thought I'd see! Apparently this is a common occurrence. The tow people knew exactly what my mistake was on the app (it was either the hours or putting down the wrong license plate), and the Maui Magic crew was familiar with the process as well. Even the uber driver had taken multiple people from that harbor, to the tow yard multiple times before. After spending nearly $1,000 for a family of four, it put a real damper on what otherwise would have been an amazing experience. Parking is part of the overall Maui Magic experience, and I think they should consider working with a different company to manage the parking lot or perhaps moving marinas. The excursion itself was outstanding, but the parking situation left us with a frustrating final impression. After my review on Viator, the company reached out and said they had tried everything with the parking company. They asked me to reach out to the parking facility to complain, I'm not even sure how to look up a a parking management facility to do that. Outside of a refund of my out of pocket expenses I'm not sure what else they can do. I read all of the reviews before I booked, so hoping I can save someone from the towing experience that I had!

I had THOUGHT I had paid for it all, but the app was misleading, and I was an hour short of what I needed and they towed me. An hour and a half later, a $35 uber and $180 to get the car out, we weren’t really feeling the Aloha spirit! After paying nearly $1000 for a family of four, it was a real damper on what would have been an awesome experience. Parking is part of the full Maui Magic experience, and I think they should consider hiring another company to manage their parking lot.

• Incredible Snorkel Tour! Worth Every Penny

  Ok y’all, this is one of the best snorkel boat trips we’ve been on in Hawaii! And we’ve done several of them :) -two locations for snorkeling, including Molokini Crater and another stop where I literally saw the biggest sea turtle of my life -brand new boat, very clean with plenty of seating -the number of people on the boat was perfect (about 45 the morning we went out), so much better than the big overcrowded boat tours -jump right off the boat, take the ladder, or ride the fun slide (kids loved this part) into the ocean -solid quality snorkel gear provided -breakfast and lunch are included (super big foodie and the taco bar at lunch was very yummy) -after you’ve finished snorkeling the bar is open and drinks are included! -staff members walked around with a tray of freshly made mai tais before we went back to shore -knowledgeable captain -really friendly, helpful staff members -kid friendly (ours are ages 6 and 8 and had a blast) - 10/10 highly recommended!   We had a fantastic time!!! The crew was fabulous, boat clean, food was good and the captain found the best snorkeling spots and kept us safe !! You will regret not taking the snorkeling tour!!!!

  Our daughter recommended Maui Magic and we couldn't have been more pleased. The crew was great and responsive to the conditions we faced - quickly adapting to the improved conditions when things looked iffy. It was a complete experience.

  Captain Kiwina and his crew mates Anna and Brian were great! Breakfast pastries and fruit were a nice start to our trip and the taco bar for lunch was even better. The crew made sure all of our needs were met. We were able to swim with sea turtles and explore two beautifully different reefs with more brilliantly colored fish than you can imagine. The beautiful new boat was an added bonus. Thanks for a great trip!

  New boat, very attentive and helpful crew. We saw a reef shark, plenty of fish and multiple turtles. The tour could be trimmed down by an hour. They serve lunch around 10am. We were ready to go back to harbor around 11-11:30 instead of 12:30.

  Was okay, I don’t think I’d do it again for how expensive it was. The weather/waves were bad so we only drove past the crater and did not snorkel (I know that isn’t their fault) but otherwise it was just a very long boat ride to another random snorkel area that we could have just driven a few minutes to. We still had a good time but don’t think it was worth the price, personally.
