What To Expect

5.00My husband and I took a white water rafting trip for our anniversary on August 28. Everything about this trip and company was excellent. Our guide was very calm and patient and the personnel at the resort were also sensational. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this again.

4.00Was traveling solo but Viator wouldn’t let me make reservations unless I paid for 2 people. Wildman said that was crazy and promised to refund half my money. We’ll see if they do or not. Trip itself was totally awesome! Mike was a great guide and made it fun.

5.00Spent the afternoon on the water with raft guide Robin and staff member Emily Nunes (family). The trip was a blast and Robin was a pleasure to be around. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and entertaining…. He even laughed at my jokes. He’s a trooper and I felt comfortable we were in excellent hands.

5.00Everything about this river rafting was AMAZING! James, our guide, was not only knowledgeable, he had the best stories and info about the area and river. He taught what was needed, and we felt very prepared. The staff was awesome; they wanted to get to know you and why you chose Wildman. They made a point to celebrate our anniversary multiple times. Quincy the photog captured so many special pictures that we were so thrilled to purchase. After the rafting, it was wonderful to sit at the bar and chat with a few guides about everyting outdoors. They were genuine people who loved what they do. We could not have had a better experience and cannot wait to go back and do this plus all their other activies again!

5.001000% worth it! Group of 10 girls (all first timers) had a blast! Our tour guides, James and Antonio, were amazing. James gave us a history lesson of the river as we went down, which was nice. These guys know what they're doing so we all felt very safe with them if something were to happen. Our photographer, Emily, killed it on the photos! We have so many and are so happy those moments were captured. Thank you so very much and we will definitely be back!

5.00We had a great time with our boat guide Teddy and Roger the bus driver. Our family had done one rafting experience out west last year with class 1 and 2 rapids so we were ready for more excitement, and the class 3 and 4 rapids in this gorge were just the ticket! We started out on flat water learning the commands, got to jump in and swim for a while before the excitement started. We got to go through the exciting rapids twice, with a short pretty hike in between when we got to look at the different features we rafted to from the cliff. Highly recommend!

5.00Wow! This was our first time white water rafting and we had no idea what to expect. Our guide made the entire experience so much fun. Her expertise made us feel safe and gave us the courage to just have fun. The scenery was amazing and the rapids were crazy fun. We were celebrating a few birthdays and after we were done rafting, our guide gave each of us cupcakes with candles. What a nice personal touch! We are already planning next years rafting adventure at Wildman!

5.00The Wildman Adventure crew is amazing! James was out guide down the river and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was extremely knowledgeable about the rapids and safety and has been doing it for 17 years!!! He has a huge file of facts that would be useful on a trivia game show about the area, the river, and the wildlife. And the river was AMAZING!!!!! I somehow stayed in the boat.... (barely) but this is something you have to try! Make sure you ask for James as your guide!!
