  Charlotte was our guide for the roughly 1.5-hour tip-based walking tour (“pay what you want”), and it was a fantastic experience. I joined with a friend visiting from abroad, hoping to show them a side of Melbourne that’s a bit off the beaten path, and this tour delivered exactly that. Even as a local, I came away with a deeper appreciation for Melbourne’s architecture, art scene and history, thanks to Charlotte’s engaging storytelling and insightful commentary. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to better understand the city’s culture and heritage. One area for improvement would be incorporating more on contemporary Indigenous culture in Melbourne, as I felt this was a bit absent.

  Five stars all the way! This free walking tour was the perfect introduction to Melbourne. Our tour guide, Tom, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and enthusiastic from start to finish. He did a fantastic job explaining everything—from Melbourne’s fascinating history and hidden laneway art to great local spots for coffee and food. Tom kept the energy high, answered everyone's questions effortlessly, and made sure the whole group was having a good time. If you are visiting Melbourne, definitely look for a tour with Tom. Tip: Don't forget to bring cash to tip him at the end—he truly earned it!

  Tom was a fantastic tour guide during our walking tour of Melbourne. He was super knowledgeable and friendly, plus he had tons of good recommendations for places to explore after the tour was finished. I highly recommend taking this tour after you first arrive to Melbourne to get tons of good history and information about the city.

  Charlotte was incredible! Extensive tour and learned a lot about Melbourne's history, including their economic booms and how that shaped the architecture, population, and more. I appreciate the city a lot more now, and I would definitely recommend.
